straight people hanging out: hey I haven't seen you in a while! How are you? How are the kids? Do you have any fun house renovations going on? Not until the weekend? Well thank god it's Friday, right?
gay people hanging out: If it cannot hatch from its shell, the chick will die without ever truly being born. We are the chick; the world is our egg. If we don't break the world's shell, we will die without truly being born. Smash the world's shell, for the Revolution of the World!
This reminds me of a poem that was in an English textbook growing up, that I haven't been able to find again. It was about a chick who is unable to hatch until it becomes so angry and frustrated that it kicks the shell apart. All I remember are the last two lines-
"rage works where reason won't
when locked up, bear down"
It made a lasting impression, as it was probably the only time as a child that I saw anger portrayed as something positive and necessary.
