just my personal dna masterlist + how much I've been refunded! will add on to it as I do more stores. also please take this all with a grain of salt just because it was easy for me or they didn't investigate me doesn't mean they'll do the same to you. I've had "easy" companies refuse refunds for me before, be cautious!
ray-ban ($157.30): full refund over email no investigation.
5.11 tactical ($176.76): full refund over email after 1-2 day investigation.
amazon ($259.36): full refund over chat no investigation for me but sometimes they will investigate.
nike ($773.98): full refund over chat, sometimes will do a 1-2 day investigation but I've always been refunded.
abercrombie & fitch ($1,179.50): full refund over chat, but also a hit or miss. sometimes I've been refused refunds from here so be careful.
urban outfitters ($105.44): full refund over chat but I had a tough time getting my refund and had to ask for it twice. I've seen some other people on here have success with it so it could've just been me.
free people ($125.67): full refund over chat. I don't remember if they investigate or not
victorias secret ($1,838.68): full refund over chat and never investigates me. soooo easy.
american eagle ($708.03): full refund over chat but I don't remember if they investigate or not. hit or miss but I've had the best luck on orders under $300.
hollister ($190.42): full refund over chat, sometimes investigates.
A small little tip for lifting from vs::: When I plan on lifting underwear I usually bring a smallish makeup bag and put a few tampons in it to put my panties in so if for some reason someone looks through your bag and sees it they'll think it's a backup for your period lol
This is smart af! lol THANK U!!!!
*LP pulls dumps out 25 pairs of panties from my bag* “i…uh… have a heavy flow….”
info on my booster bag
hey liftblr!
if you remember this post i made a little while back, you might be aware that i recently purchased a “faraday bag” meant for protecting your mobile phone/tablet (product linked here) from radio signals used to extract/plant data. my intent was to use it as a booster bag, and i figured i would give you all a little update on how that’s worked out for me, since a few people seem interested & i think it could help other lifters!
first things first, here are the dimensions of the bag:
(the bag itself, with a regular hook tag for scale)
(here it is when it’s folded—it’s about 1.5” thick. i fold it and usually shove it down the back of my jeans so it rests against my back. paired with a loose sweater over it, it’s actually pretty hard to spot.)
you can fit a REALLY decent amount of tags inside this thing, though it does get harder to fold the more are inside. i would estimate, while folded, it can comfortably fit 10-15 tags without getting too bulky. if you stuffed the thing with disregard for bulkiness, i’d approximate you could easily fit 40-50+ tags inside, maybe more. i got the tablet size* for 70 USD, and while it is pricey, i’m really pleased!
*they also sell a cell phone size for 50 USD, which is a good deal smaller, but i’m sure you could still fit a few tags inside, and it would also be easier to conceal on-person.
i’ve tested it at the following stores, and been able to pass through the entrance* (with tags inside) incident free:
- although not a store, it worked on my iphone, lol. putting it inside makes it unable for calls or texts to get through, and when you bring the phone out, there are a few seconds before the phone “pings” with a tower that you can see it still reads “no cellular service available.”
- forever 21
- pacsun
- lululemon
- sephora**
- urban outfitters
- h&m**
- aerie
- aeropostale
- victoria’s secret/PINK***
*while i can’t concretely verify that all these stores actually had towers/working towers at that, i know for certain that the towers at urban outfitters worked, as well as the ones at VS/PINK. i did my testing at a relatively upscale mall, so i would assume all stores would be adequately prepared with LP measures like working towers.
**i did not conceal tags directly from these stores, but the tags i had on my person from other stores did not create an incident at these places.
***this one is a bit of a special case. i walked into the VS side of the store with tags concealed in my booster bag and the towers did NOT go off—i know for a fact they were working, however, because a woman beeped on her way out (and subsequently, an SA searched her bag). however, upon leaving the PINK side of the store with tags from PINK/VS inside my bag, i did beep. more on this down below.
here are the types of tags i’ve found success with concealing in my bag & walking out with:
top left: clam tag from UO
top right: ink tag from F21/pacsun
bottom left: hook tag from lululemon
bottom right: hook tag from A&F
now, here are the tags that may have given me a problem:
i believe all of these are from VS/PINK, though i’m not entirely certain on the tag with the wire. these tags were the ones i added to my bag while inside of the VS/PINK, and subsequentially the ones that must have made me beep. upon entering a kate spade store with the same assortment of tags in my bag, i also beeped on both entry and exit.
my lifter friend (who was there at the time) and i tried to brainstorm reasons why these tags might have made me beep. note that we made sure i hadn’t left any tags/hidden RFIDs in my purse or on the merchandise i had concealed on my person. here’s what we were able to come up with (keep in mind that neither of us know jack shit about the science behind radio signals and whatnot):
- it’s possible that one or more of the tags in the picture above uses a frequency that was not blocked by the bag? i believe this would be possible if one of the tags used a radio frequency <600MHz or >5 GHZ. just gonna put it out there that i have no ideas what those numbers mean, but on the website, that‘s the range of frequencies the bag claims to block. the same case could be made with other kinds of signals the website lists that have some kind of range associated with them.
- again, just putting it out there that i have NO IDEA how radio signals or otherwise work, but maybe the amount of tags in my bag created a combined signal strength that overwhelmed the bag? i don’t even know if signals can do that, but if they can that might be an explanation. after i started beeping, we went back to my lifter friend’s car and ditched all of the tags inside the bag before continuing (cautiously) lifting. for the rest of the day, we were careful to ditch tags as frequently as possible to limit the number inside the bag, just in case this theory had any connection to why i beeped.
that’s all the information i can give you about my bag. overall, i’m SUPER pleased with how it’s working out for me—i’ve been able to steal upwards of $1300 worth of merchandise with it so far, so the cost of the bag was money well-spent. even with the rouge beep at VS, i would say i have confidence in the bag for use while lifting. although i do still have to stay vigilant whenever i pass through towers, you should ALWAYS be alert, booster bag or not, when you leave a store, and never assume that you won’t beep.
i hope this post could help some people out—and if anyone has some kind of knowledge that could concretely explain the beeping incident at VS/PINK, it would be much appreciated (for me, and anyone else who uses any kind of booster bag).
happy lifting :)
it’s good to see an informative post about booster bags when practically none exist!☺️✨ from what i understand of the way tags work (not a huge amount, admittedly), tags can’t overcome a faraday cage like a booster bag with their combined frequency strength. this is because they all work independently, so their frequencies can’t be combined to create some sort of super frequency to get through the bag. like you said, it seems most likely that one of the tags you took with you was just very strong and overwhelmed the capabilities of the bag. hope this makes sense, it took me a few tries to describe it right😅😅✨
Ross’s hard tagging guidelines
This is so fire omg
y’all hurry up and share this shit
best lifting feelings
1. the rush of adrenaline walking out of the towers and not beeping
2. getting a new magnet/hook
3. totaling up a big haul in ur room
4. finding shit for your friends/family that’s easy to lift
5. back to school/black friday/cyber monday sales days where you can easily lift without being sussed too much
6. getting away w/ your partner and excitedly showing each other what you got
7. swapping stories/techniques with other lifters and trying them out at stores
8. finding a new concealing method that you can pull off
9. being gay and doing crime
10. when the security guard smiles at you/passes you w/o a second glance
11. when there’s only one SA in a VERY easy store, and they’re overly friendly so u end up having a friend distract them while u snatch like 6 pins (oddly specific but me and my partner do it ALL the time)
12. when the SAs that suss/cs you don’t follow because you don’t beep
13. when you’re able to chat with the SA’s as if you’re not a felon level thief and carrying at least $200 worth of stolen merchandise from their store
14. finding a SUPER easy store to practice at with tons of blindspots, lazy SAs, and practically no LP
please add more

General policy is to greet all customers within 10 feet individually and within 10 seconds, so expect a bit of employee interaction. Employees DO notice items that don’t have price tickets, and that don’t have hard tags/spider wraps when they regularly would. If an area is messy, employees are required to clean it up, organize it, or call it in. Employees will routinely walk through the top shrink areas looking for disorganization, suspicious activity, etc.
Employees get a $25 cash reward for tipping off LP on customer theft, and up to $350 for internal theft that leads to termination. If an employee finds an incorrect or missing ticket, and corrects it, they can win a $20 gift card.
Tip: You can unlock the wire that holds all the purses to the display by holding a magnet to the flat round part of the black plastic piece (“lock”) holding the wire together. You could hide a magnet in your fist and make a little opening for it to touch the piece, and discreetly move the wire so that the “lock” can’t be seen by cameras. The wire won’t make a noise when unlocked, but remember that the purse will have another hard tag on it. Associates are not allowed to let a customer walk around with a purse so make sure to conceal it (unless you can pull off acting like you own it!). You could walk in with a jacket over your arm and after you get the purse, you can simply put it under the jacket on your arm!
Employees will look for these signs (alert signals):
Looking for cameras.
Group of 2+ entering together then splitting up, or one of them distracting an SA and the rest stealing.
Lingering.
Quickly grabbing items, not looking at size or price.
Empty bag, backpack, stroller, purse, etc.
Tugging or looking at hard tags/security devices.
Being overly friendly or avoiding associates.
Looking nervous.
Full carts (walk out).
CSing techniques:
Asking to hold your items at the fitting room/front desk.
Eye contact.
Commenting on merchandise that you’ve selected.
Offering a cart.
Checking back in with you.
ONLY LP CAN STOP YOU. Associates/managers are NOT allowed to hint that they know you’re shoplifting, or stop you. All they can do is deter.
EDIT:
None of the staff is trained to deal with shoplifters. My coworker saw a man rip the tags off a pair of gloves, wear them, and walk out. No one did anything. As stated above, fitting room associates are supposed to count in and out (I don’t, can’t be bothered), but if the number is different (ex: come in with 8, leave with 6), they can’t do anything. They’re not allowed to leave the fitting room, and they *usually* don’t have radios, so just dip right after. You can always just conceal before letting them count. In my store, the fitting room has one old fashioned camera pointing towards the center (where the associate stands), and two hallways for entry. So basically it’s built like =[ ]=, you can definitely conceal in those halls. Associates will not allow you to enter a fitting room with any type of bag, shoe box, etc, just your purse. Just watch out for cameras and that’s it! Again, only LP is allowed to apprehend you. Not managers, not associates.
DNAing, or scamming!
-DNA: Did not arrive.
It’s really easy to DNA stuff online. Just email or live chat (i prefer livechat) the company and say that you never received the product, and that you were really excited to get it/disappointed it never came.
For Ämäzön, Wälmärt, Ültä, Tärgët, etc, it’s best to have an active account with actual purchases on there. Even after your scam, buy cheap things once in a while so you can scam again. I’ve done that with Tärgët & have scammed over $400 in items on the same account (with like 10 legitimate purchases).
Here’s a list of stores I’ve scammed and their protocol, & the amount I scammed:

Someone tell me how to scam amâzôñnnnn
order something and wait 2 days after you get it, find the customer service chat and say the package never arrived the chat is automated. i routinely scam them this way.
once you open the app hit the side menu and go to customer service at the bottom
after you choose the item this screen comes up
click the first option, a delivery, order, or return, then choose your item you want to refund
then click “i need more help” under the yellow button then click CHAT !! and you’re golden
these chats are automated specifically

so me and my łifting buddy went to the mall after her first day of school today. I got a surprising amount of things from the fancy lingerie store, and overall I got a lot of fall themed stuff during this haul. I’m currently enjoying a hot chocolate from my adorable ghost mug, while wearing my new lavender sweater, and I’m highkey feeling the autumn vibes :))
DNA’S/ONLINE SCAMS MASTERPOST
nobody asked for this but im doing it anyway ✨
i will edit this as time goes on and i order from more places! feel free to message me with or reblog with your own experiences from different stores, this post will be my individual thoughts and experiences
this will not just focus on dna’s, its more like the best methods to use for different online stores. currently planning on either doing chewy, petco or petsmart next
AMAZON:
hella easy, usually theyll just give you a refund without question. stuff like food or stuff that can’t be repurposed can’t be returned at all so you don’t always have to file a dna, you can just say they were damaged and they’ll refund you in full. stuff like clothes, blankets, anything that can be washed and used by other people they’ll want you to return, though, so always do dnas for them. if you order something off of amazon fresh grocery delivery and say that the entire order was messed up, they might even double the amount you spent and refund it (THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED TO ME ONCE SO DON’T QUOTE ME IF IT DOESNT WORK). do not do this too often or they will lock/blacklist your account or address!
ALIEXPRESS:
hard to do dna’s on since theyll pretty much just tell you “sorry it says its delivered so it’s delivered whether or not you got it”. half of the time though things take WAY longer than their marked delivery date anyway so you can say that it hasnt arrived after that date and they’ll have to give you a refund, and your clothes will still probably arrive. particularly easy to scam though, make up some bullshit excuse about your outfit being torn or otherwise not as you expected and you’ll get refunded in a few days (especially if you provide picture evidence, just take something you already have of similar color or whatever and rip it a bit or just take a pic off google and alter it so it can’t be reverse searched). this is better to do on shops that are obviously automated and not individually ran, you can tell if they’re just another copy shop if you look up one of their products and the same thing is being sold at different places. do NOT do a dna with an independent shop as it’s essentially the same as lifting from a mom n pop or a depop/etsy store. you’re hurting actual people there.
WISH:
similar to aliexpress but a bit easier; if you don’t receive your order in a timely manner theyll actually ask you about it and you can say that you didnt get it. like aliexpress itll probably take longer than estimated for your things to arrive, so you can file for a refund and still get your stuff some time later. like before, you can tell if they’re a bot shop if you can find the exact same product at different places
DOORDASH:
you cant get your money back with doordash but they do give you refunds with dash credits, which is basically currency that pays for your order for you. i don’t do dna’s here often since it requires you to chat with cs (not that it matters, i just dont like talking to people — just say it was delivered to the wrong address or smth) but rather i complain abt the food (claim something was missing, something wasn’t made right etc) and i’ll still get money back. do this once every other order and not every single order or else they’ll stop giving you credits/only give you minimal credits. you can also possibly tell your driver to take their time with delivering, as late orders are an automatic 10$ back in credits no matter what. as far as i know this does not affect the driver if you don’t directly complain about them and give them a good rating, but obviously if your drivers an ass then complain about/rate them however you want. they will absolutely ban your account if you do it too often so be careful with it!
A tip from an ex-magician to my lifting babies ♡
That has got to be the most ridiculous title for myself. Anyway. GOOGLE MAGIC TRICKS. LEARN SLEIGHT OF HAND THROUGH MAGIC TUTORIALS.
Guys I was OBSESSED with magic as a kid and I practiced it until I was a junior in high school. You know how easily I took to lifting? Ridiculously. I’ve fucking concealed with employees staring me in the eye during my first ever haul. They can’t tell shit. And they had no idea. There’s tricks you can learn that are INVALUABLE. Of course don’t go running up to lp and concealing in front of them right away. I’ve been playing with sleight of hand and illusions for years. You’d be amazed how much better you can get at lifting if you learn tricks similar to it.
Penny behind the ear? Oh no. I pulled a fucking nAKED PALLETTE OUT OF YOUR DAMN ASS HOW’S THAT FOR A TRICK.
Now go learn from the pros my precious babies ilysm ❤❤❤❤
To add to this: look up Apollo Robbins and the sort of stuff he does: he explains diverted attention really well, and basically how to direct others’ gazes to particular areas while doing something else. Of course, Robbins uses it for stage effects, but if you take the basic premise and get creative with it and apply it to lifting… you’re all set. Practice this shit in the bathroom mirror at home and stuff, too, with items around the same size and weight as stuff you’re lifting. (If you don’t have those items yet, use small packets, or lipglosses or pens or whathaveyou.) And get very, very good at not looking at your hand while you’re doing stuff (including removing and even finding RFID tags, as well as concealing). Ideally you want your attention– and anyone else’s– focussed on what you’re doing with your other hand, which should be looking at a product/price/etc.
This is very good advice. I’ve also used the same philosophies as professional pickpockets (they use sleight of hand, same as magicians) and been very successful with it.
