I know there were a few years when I went to school we didn’t talk as much, but I tried to keep in touch as much as I could with you. I had a lot going on, especially in my last two years. I lost my dad, then I lost my grandmother. Depression hit me hard after school and it left me a different person for a long time. It wasn’t just you I had trouble keeping in touch with.
I also never stopped caring about you, despite what you thought. I was with you when things went sour, took you into my home while you got back on your feet, shared a secret with you I hoped you could understand and handle. You couldn’t, so you left. And I wished…I wished so hard for you to come back to me. And you did…for a while, but it wasn’t what I thought.
Chloe, I know you lied to me, I know you lied about believing in kin lives just so you could be my friend again. And you know what? Fuck you for that. You took advantage of my trust a second time after I left the door open for you. You also grouped my one mistake in with the horrible things that others have done to you, and I am sorry but what I did I apologized for and you had no right to make it seem as bad as that. So don’t bother every trying to come back again, I don’t want your toxicity in my life anymore either.
