Justice for Animals, a letter to our Prime Minister.
Dear Prime Minister, and to those with a title; With due respect, Especially to the Prime Minister Najib Razak, We know you have a lot going on right now also with our country and expectations from all walks of life resting on your shoulders. I respect and admire such integrity, dedication and passion to provide, push and pull our country into harmonious prosperity. We thank you and those who have led us before you as it is only to those of you who could and can make a difference, mostly to make a difference to those who do not have the means to; Ambition, culture and justice, aren't these our vibrant qualities?
As i write, as it is foreseen, spare a minute of your grandiloquent schedule and observe. We have successfully overlooked our multi-racial and cultural cliques, not posed as a threat but is it not shown, that even for something like Animal Justice that you do not consider worth your time or anybody else who think it does not matter, is another path for all of us to be one step closer to unity? It might be small, but it's a start.
However, how are we unable to provide justice for those who cannot speak for themselves (animals)? There is no excuse saying that our nation is small and we cannot provide to everyone's desires whether it may be for justice or not. If so, why are there much-advanced countries even with so little to spare have spared time to the creatures that do not bring any profit?
They too are God's creations. I, Muslim myself have such love for these innocent creatures. A dog may not suit the religious profile, but aren't we all taught to appreciate and love those that surround us whether it may be for each other, our home or the view that has been put in front of us. Some animals may sometimes be violent, I understand; but so can we. We may not bite, claw or growl; but we can kill, cheat, steal and lie. And those who are caught adapting these homo-sapien qualities are to be given hell and punished; Why? because they knew exactly what they got themselves into, because they can choose their path. Animals, they can only be guided a path if given the opportunity to. There has been countless of cases of cruelty to animals in Malaysia swept under a rug. Even so, Social media provided us to help push out viral comments and gruesome videos of animal brutality just to provide a shallow reminder how unjustified our system is.
But of course, we pursue and provide more attention to Racial and Religious propaganda, or what ever it may be that makes the higher-ups some cash. Now; What does that say about us to those who have not heard/seen Malaysia? Are we not compassionate? Is our passion for our culture just a facade? If money is not involved is it not important? As Tun Hussein Onn was spoke, "I would rather do the right thing and be cursed than do the popular but wrong thing and be applauded."
