You can walk around with the urge to kick puppies all goddamn day and as long as you are capable of redirecting that impulse to something benign then it doesn’t matter. I don’t know how else to say this

Also you're allowed to exist and relax and be kind to yourself no matter what your brain is shouting about. You don't need to punish yourself for having 'bad' thoughts/feelings/impulses; you can choose a healthier outlet. Drink some cold water, punch a pillow, go for a walk, draw/scribble something, journal... even if you feel like you don't deserve it in the moment. Practice working with your brain.
