the idea that love and fate intertwine and act like a mirror. you want them more than anyone because not only do they see you, but through their eyes what they reflect are revelations. things you can't say with words. things that you have locked away. their presence becomes... evidence that you exist as a whole, not in shattered parts that you have to tame to fit in.

they way we see them, in fear, awe, wonder and curiosity, is also how we are seen by them. to be known and loved; it truly is transformation.

like the slow readjustment of a camera lens, we suddenly see the way we were always meant to.
