A 16th-century book that contains no fewer than six different books in a single binding. They are all devotional texts printed in Germany during the 1550s and 1570s (including Martin Luther, Der kleine Catechismus) and each one is closed with its own tiny clasp.

Fortunately, after decades of stalled excavations in Pompeii, new excavations began in 2018 and continue to this day. Thus, domus, frescoes, mosaics, bars, streets, objects, and also remains of victims were finally found after almost two thousand years of being hidden. The most recent discovery has brought to light an unusual house: it is not the classic domus; it does not have the characteristic atrium; it's a tiny house with frescoes, delicate decorations and a lararium with a fresco painting. nAll of us who love Pompeii, Ancient Rome, and archaeology, are lucky to see these new and amazing discoveries. @ancientcharm
