Post-canon, Getting Together, Drunk Lan Wangji, Cloud Recesses Rabbits, Angst and Fluff with a Happy Ending

“Here we are,” Wei Wuxian murmurs softly, to mask the horrible fondness in his voice. The queasiness of what he said in the forest hasn’t faded, joined by anxiety that Lan Zhan might actually remember it. “Into bed you go.”

The clumsy act of depositing Lan Zhan onto his bed almost feels familiar, now, for the third time. The secret intimacy of it, his charming helplessness. But there’s something else to it tonight. It feels…allowed, instead of stolen. Though he knows he shouldn’t let it get to him. None of this is allowed at all.

Before Wei Wuxian leaves the Cloud Recesses, he accidentally gets Lan Wangji drunk. Unavoidably, some things are said (and done).

no offense but if you let your meatball sub get stolen by one of these rounded beasts that’s ur own fault and also it deserves it more than you do

Kiwi (all species) don’t steal your sandwiches and they don’t want to. They are nocturnal and like to eat delicious, delicious insects hiding in leaf-litter (or other small animals). That’s what that long beak is for. Unless you are packing worm sandwiches for your tramp you are of no interest to them, and frankly you’re never going to see them unless you go looking in some very specific places and stay up late.

WEKA steal your sandwiches. Weka steal your biscuits. Weka steal your spoons. Weka will steal anything that’s not in your hand and run away laughing to themselves.

And Keas will steal all the chrome and rubber off your car while you admire New Zealand’s stunning scenery. Kea are trolls XD 

All NZ birds are super quirky but that doesn’t sound like a kiwi- you have to actively look for Kiwis in areas you know they’ll be and at night time. They’re classified as threatened, with the population dropping every week.
