Women lowkey live in a mass fawn response and while most understand that male aggression like rape, coercion and abuse is obviously patriarchal and harmful, we've still internalized that male aggression is natural and proof that a 'worthy' man truly, undeniably desires a woman. And that's often why ultra masculine or morally corrupt coercive male characters/dynamics/kinks end up so popular. It's a way to experience being desired by scary powerful men but not the true consequence of that violent coercive desire.
It's like wanting to have our cake and eat it too, which is somewhat possible when it comes to fiction, but systems of oppression like patriarchy don't care why you like male violence, or in what form you accept it, as long as you like and accept male violence. In any and every form, the system lives on.
One of the best ways to immortalize a system is to incorporate it into sex culture, so now every criticism becomes very easy to dismiss on the basis of personal freedom, pleasure and popularity 💔
most women don’t get enough iron in their diet so while i understand and try to empathize with my vegan mutuals, it’s simply would conflict with my feminist agenda to promote a meatless diet to women
idk which self identified queer needs to hear this but you're not radical for supporting kinks at pride and defending kinks in general. the porn industry wants you to support kinks. nightlife clubs and bars want you to support kinks. liberal newspapers, media and politicians want you to support kinks. sex toy and lingerie brands want you to support kinks. misogynists and pedophiles want you to support kinks. "oooh but what about the ppl (men) who get off thinking about raping women / punching women / strangling women / fucking children / fucking my sister / fucking my dog" is this really the kind of radical thinking you will bring to the revolution? get a grip and go volunteer at a shelter. oh my god
They think they’re being progressive and radical because their idea of progressive is whatever conservatives dislike and oppose (or publicly oppose)
I do think there's something strange when a hot female celebrity is publicly cheated on by their chud that the response is "you idiot she's the most gorgeous woman in the world." As if the only reason people are in relationships are to possess a beautiful person and that the only reason someone cheats is because they don't have the most beautiful person. It just reinforces the idea that women are only worth being beautiful decoration in a man's life, even though that logic is already being defeated by the situation itself. clearly, her beauty is not enough to keep him from cheating. something else is going on. something like...misogyny. that you are also participating in right now.
Hi guys. No post for a long time busy with uni.
Recently I'vebeen living in confusion. I was asked out on a date by a guy from my hometown. I haven't went on a date ever but at this point i thought i might as well because I'd rather prefer that over some arrange marriage recommended by my parents. He's 23. My friend from same batch as him convinced me to give a chance because he's smart, nice and hot.
So we were in same school knew of each other's existence but never interacted directly he was 2 years older. He reached out beginning of this month he asked me out on a coffee date which i shut down at first because that wasn't my idea of a first date he was respectful of that decision. but then i asked him some questions and we had different conversations at some point he asked if he could take me on a date now i said yeah but decided to postpone because of exams. Found out we had some things in common he's athletic, we both wanted to be pilots (he couldn't because of medical reasons), had similar background, career progression; he cooks etc. I was really upset by his stance on geopolitics specially Palestine because he supported isr**l to which he replied he'd rather talk about such stuff irl face 2 face. At another point i was upset with him because i sent him a meme to which he replied "beeech" which i took an offence to and he started explaining why he meant it in a funny way because that's how him and his female friends talked jokingly, he then apologised. Fast forward to yesterday some related story i shared sparked a convo about dates. I got to know that he hasn't been on a formal date despite being in 2 serious relationships in the past.
One of them in particular, he said it changed him and how he viewed relationships and set boundaries. He wanted me to know that part ab him. Apparently he got cheated on by this girl whom he cared about and was on n off w/ her. Apparently she cheated on him with her male bsf. He sent around 15 voice notes explaining the whole situation while he sounded v anxious. Is this even healthy? He doesn't want to date any woman w male bsf because of that. But normal male friends would be fine. Which was reasonable enough for me because i don't think I've had male friends who hadn't hit on me if given the chance. My problem is the girl and him fought over the fact that he didn't spend enough time with her around his competitive exams and the job he is now preparing for is a job she encouraged him to pursue because her more well off family would find him suitable then. And the place where we go to play at different times is a place where he had many memories of her and that's where he found out about the (physical) cheating, he started hitting himself after that... to which i pointed out that it was emotionally manipulative but then he said it wasn't like that he argued with his family for months for her etc. It didn't sit right with me that it was 15 voice notes n that sounded like he wasn't over her to which he said he blocked her and doesn't think about her and has told his friends to never mention that. He told me just because he wanted me to know that part of him before we became more intimate ig.
The conversation somehow turned to generalised statements like "If you give all your time to the women they will accuse you of being aimless/purposeless" i asked him if all 2-3 women he dated did him wrong he said Yes mostly. He valued his studies more n a few days of less interaction because of exams etc doesn't warrant the kind of behaviour those women showed. I was skeptical but didn't say much .he started going off ab fake feminism and how its causing a divide too. He gave me an example of a woman who said "it's her choice" when a woman cheated on her partner with 4 other men. At that point i was convinced he viewed red pill content or something like that despite him saying "he understood why i didn't like maosphere content" because he started equating dowry with alimony which is a huge debate issue in our country for some reason. He said he was against both strictly because if his wife had relationships with multiple men why would he give her a dime. I said those are rare and alimony is usually for housewives who did housework n child rearing and relied on husbands financially. And then he said stfu at some point which made enraged me ig. He said it was fine because at some point i told him to "fk off" (context- he sent a reel which said "when you're expecting her message but some megan fox messages you instead" i found it offensive because i didn't like the position it put me in as if I'm some third class citizen. He said he meant it as a compliment he enjoys talking to me and that he's really sorry about it) our last chats include him apologising ab saying inappropriate stuff and getting out of line and that he hopes i forgive him.
Idek what I'm asking you guys at this point just say something
