Man, it's really embarrassing to be anti JKR in 2026... because that means that every single time a wave of hate for her went around, over and over and over again, you never got curious enough to fact check. JKR is a feminist, a philanthropist, and very arguably the most accomplished author of our time. We have a whole subculture of iconoclasts who want nothing more than to erase this woman and her accomplishments, but all their years of effort has led to exactly nothing. Hogwarts Legacy was hugely successful. The Strike books are hugely successful. The Harry Potter HBO trailer is already their number one trailer. JKR just keeps on winning, and honestly? No one deserves it more. Good for her.

Why is porn the only media category that's allowed to be as offensive as possible?

The level of racism and ableism in a lot of mainstream porn would (rightfully) upset most libfems if it was in any other category of media, but it's somehow okay just because it's porn? Why is porn immune to any criticisms of it's racist / homophobic / misogynistic / ableist content the way no other media category is?

People treat TIMs fears and women’s fears vastly different.

A TIM scared to go outside and scared to interact with people, including other men, is considered by progressives and leftists not paranoid, but reasonably fearful. It’s such a scary time to be trans, they say. There’s a genocide going on, they claim. It’s perfectly understandable that a trans woman is scared and wants his transfem spaces, his communities, his transfem specific resources.

A woman is scared to be around men, wants her own spaces of just women, or goes out of her way to avoid men, she’s being paranoid. She’s just been watching too much true crime. Not every man is out to get her, she’s so emotionally swayed by online stories that aren’t even true. She needs to go to therapy, it’s not other people’s responsibility to deal with her trauma, she just shouldn’t go outside if she’s so scared. She’ll be lectured about how she’s promoting racism even if she isn’t even white. Her wanting female only spaces is her being hateful and paranoid. A leftist man will go on about how trans women are being murdered and there’s a genocide and they can never ever go to Texas or Florida, if they live there they need to leave or they will die, and then in the next breath say women are crazy and paranoid for being scared of men sometimes.

So, last night at philosophy club, we finally got into the trans/gender ideology debate. On one hand, i was excited because for the first time i said what i needed to say in a semi-public venue; it felt good to get a lot of it off my chest and let people know where i stand. On the other, i was left incredibly disheartened by the fact that in a group of 5 women and 1 man, the only one who backed me up was the man. One of the women did have things to say about transitioning children that I appreciated, but for the most part, the other women were glad to throw their fellow females under the bus to uphold this ideology.

my sister is a case manager and has trans clients, so i can extend some respect there, that it's literally her job to get resources for these people. i tried to make it clear that i don't wish harm on trans people and i do believe they are marginalized as well and are deserving of legal and physical protections; it's bizarre to have people who KNOW ME, my own sister and friends, assuming that i think any GNC people should be thrown out into the cold with nothing. it just shows how deep this shit the brainwashing runs, that they can't separate me as a person from ideology. but why, i ask over and over again, WHY must this be at the expense of women's safety? why is it ALWAYS at the expense of women?

i don't even want to say "natal women" or "biological women" anymore because all that does is reinforce their claims. i'm also not going to use to the term 'trans women' anymore but will stick with 'trans identifying males.'

one of the girls there ended with "well for my part i just want to say that i'm personally comfortable welcoming all different types of people into the bubble fo womanhood" ok that's great for you, but what about women who have suffered at the hands of males? women with trauma? little girls who aren't ready to see a naked male body? it really illuminated to me how complicit women are in their own oppression and i'm feeling really fucking down about it today. the hatred for women just runs so deep, i feel like i can't even wrap my mind around it.

people telling radfems to focus on the actual men oppressing women, as if trans ideology isn't a more insidious branch of the same ole misogynistic, patriarchal rhetoric keeping women oppressed. wrapping this rhetoric in a progressive bow does not make it any less misogynistic and patriarchal. it does not make the tactics of these activists any less abusive or manipulative.

I truly view it as more insidious because the majority of women have developed the tools to immediately see an openly misogynistic man for what he is. Many girls and women may fall victim to abusive men in relationships for various reasons, but on a political scale, we are very much aware that far right men and MRA types are anti-women and wish to dismantle feminism. There’s no denying it when they say “feminism is ruining society” and “women belong in the kitchen” and vote against our reproductive rights. And for the most part, these men are not hiding it. They also don’t pretend to be women or assume roles in our spaces. They tend to stick to other spaces and overtly take on the role of misogynistic man with contempt for women.

We know this behavior and we can dismiss him for the misogynist he is without hesitation.

But the misogynistic TIMs? They’re actively pretending to be women, insisting that they are women and have ALWAYS been women. They appropriate our experiences. They infiltrate historically female only spaces and communities (I’m not even a lesbian but the amount of literal males walking around calling themselves lesbians is infuriating), and then call us bigots for protesting it. They speak over women and attempt to rewrite the history of feminism. They advocate for completely redefining the word woman.

These are men taking on the role of a woman and silencing real women but with the support of supposedly progressive movements.

We don’t have to worry about leftists publicly protecting MRAs from criticism. But when it comes to trans women, leftists themselves will completely turn against women and label us bigots.

These are the only size-able group of males who get to live in progressive spaces while perpetuating misogyny and being regarded as the most vulnerable members of the group.

The fact that men's lives are so self-contained and myopic that all THEY have to worry about is the singular, individual girlfriend they choose is so telling. The fact that they think we're complaining about a "few bad boyfriends" is so telling. The fact that they assume we're talking about romantic relationships at all when we're in fact talking about widespread rape and discrimination from total strangers is so telling.

Imagine what a privilege it is that all you have to worry about is what girl you're dating, to the point where you assume any feminist speaking about men is speaking about HER boyfriend or ex.
