I swear I am this close to leaving the therian community. Some of you are insufferable. I just want to be in a space where I am able to express myself without fear of backlash because of some stupid shit.

Just so some of you know,

I support transspecies alterhumans

I support alterhumans who wear non-human packers

I support beings who draw nsfw furry content

I support beings whose alterhumanity is connected to their sex lives

I don't fucking care if I'm "technically an otherkin" because to you werewolves aren't real. That's crazy fucking invalidating. I am a werewolf therian, a physical werewolf, a werewolf full stop.

I'm sick of the drama in this community, some of you kids need to learn some fucking Internet etiquette like I did. And some of the adults too, you are fucking childish if you choose to involve yourselves in drama that doesn't concern you.

Also, please stop making drama out of nothing and learn that there are adults in this community who are sexually active and express that because they are adults.

No, animalistic packers aren't zoophilia because a penis isn't inherently sexual. Y'all need to shut it with the "eww penis gross, I don't like it" preschool talk. Its a part of the body grow the fuck up, block it and move on. I'm not even going to get into the fact that beings probably act this way because of the fact the penis had been demonised recently because "all men are gross and evil" shit that gets spouted online nowadays. When that is very harmful language considering the fact that some trans men/mascs consider themselves to have a penis pre-op or that some trans men get a penis after surgery. There are trans women/fems who have a penis. There are intersex beings who have a penis and non-binary beings can have them as well.

And no, I don't think animalistic sex toys are zoophilia. THEY AREN'T REAL ANIMALS. If a being is into primal play, or fucking their mate with a werewolf dildo I don't care its their choice and they aren't hurting anyone.

We can't say shit like "being a therian involves all parts of my life" then turn around and say that someone is a freak for saying that their alterhumanity involves their sexuality.

Just please learn the actual definitions of these serious fucking labels and stop accusing every slightly nsfw being in the community of being a criminal.

Idk if anybody's done this but in case they havent, I propose a slight AU! Calling it Necrolepsy for now. Like narcolepsy but pun.

Danny Phantom but its like Aang going to the avatar state and he leaves his body behind when he has to go ghost.

If his body is moved and he doesnt know, he can't 'resurrect' until he finds it.

His body is by all appearances dead when he's outside of it and WILL begin decomposing if he's out being a ghost for too long. Little incidents figuring that out have healed over and stacked so he's hitting the joint issues and generalized body aches concerningly early.

Amityville developing an urban legend of finding a dead body that always has the exact same description. Danny's parents are convinced that its either a residual haunting or a grief-feeding demon but its an ongoing debate in the household. ("A demon would have preferences in targets! The sightings are always reported by randos." "Residuals don't move around, Jack. They're memories haunting places." "Maybe it's haunting a car! Those move around.")

Danny has a few times where someone finds his body and stays with it until someone picks it up. He can go get it from the morgue but it's a hassle getting himself back out again and he has to hang out invisibly to wait until the morgue is empty cuz the one time he didn't and left it alone to go handle ghost shit he almost got fucking embalmed and uuuuuugh....

Decided to risk leaving his body in bed. It was fine while his family understood it as a Teenager Crash Nap until Jack joked that someone should check for signs of life. Jazz actually did and realized 'actually oh shit baby brother is NOT breathing'. hopital. This is how the almost-embalming happened.

After Jazz finds out she helps Danny cover, same as usual.

Sam has way too much fun giving Danny's body mock-funerals when she watches it. Tucker just puts a controller in his lap and plays games against the computer. If they both are on bodywatch duty it turns into weekend at bernies

One thing they don't tell you about being an adult therian is that much of the online community gradually feels more and more alienating. Posts about wearing gear to school or writing about your theriotype at college stop feeling relatable. And it's admittedly hard not to get grumpy about it. Sure, occasionally you see some insights about working a 9 to 5 when you're a dog, or managing your appointments when you're a bird, but most of the short-form writings you come across feel less like the relevant ramblings of your peers, and more like looking through a window at a life you had to leave behind. I don't miss school, good gods, nothing could ever make me wish I was 16 again. But I do miss the relative simplicity of it, and the ease with which I related to other school-age therians.

Why aren't there any good books about werecats? I just want to read about more creatures like me 😭 The closest I can get are books about werewolves but it's so hard to find ones where the main character is a werewolf and lycanthropy isn't depicted as a bad thing???
