commission based on Lady Hawke done by @insaneption
I wish the Hound were here. (A Storm of Swords - Sansa I)
"Little bird. I knew you'd come." (A Clash of Kings - Sansa VII)
When the devotion is so deep that he becomes her only security and support, and she becomes his only light in the dark, violent, cynical world its no longer matters whether it is romantic or platonic love.
When he is the only one who never lies to her, when he is the only one who resists her violent impulses and protects her against the world, when she is the only one to whom he tries to be kind, when alive or "dead" he would do anything for her, you can no longer deny that she is his main purpose.
When she stays awake thinking about him every night wondering where he is, when the whole kingdom accuses her of killing the king she only wonders if he hates her, when every other man who protects her seems unsuitable compared to him, when she convinces the man who hates knights and gods to be her protector with kindness alone you know that no one can compete.
They are just two souls who have met and changed their destiny.
