i cannot BELIEVE that the words “Demyx Time” are actually spoken aloud in a canon KH title in the year 2019. this is insane to me like who tf at Square did this WHO is responsible?

The rebuilt Hope's Peak had a rough start, however Makoto Naegi, with the help of the Future Foundation, had managed it. It took years to work through the apprehension people had towards the school - after what had happened thanks to Junko Enoshima, no one could blame people for their doubts - but Makoto managed it. It was likely mostly due to luck that he managed to rebuild former positive reputation of his school, but that wasn't to say he hadn't had help. His friends, the other members of Future Foundation, even a few surviving members of Hope's Peak former classes and staff assisted in rebuilding and scouting efforts. All things considered, things were going better then expected for the New Hope's Peak.

Whether your character has been going to Hope's Peak for a while or are newly arriving to the prestigious school for those with immense talent, you have certainly been noticed by someone. After all, you received a letter inviting you to visit a lovely, extravagant mansion in a remote location for a relaxing stay, being waited on hand-and-foot by lovely maids and handsome butlers alike while you had direct access to the tools of your talent right in your very room to help you continue practicing and honing it. As suspicious as it may have seemed to receive such a thing, it showed all the marks of being officially from Hope's Peak and, with things going so well for the school, the danger seems to have been long passed. This was simply an invitation to a luxurious independent study location, nothing more. So you pack your things and travel out to that lovely mansion, ready to be pampered and hone your skill with the other select few who received an invitation.
