Lance and Keith’s relationship,
This part was interesting to me.
Now this fucken gutted me and my ship, because OUCH. Yes, this was mean, but this is also part of how Lance truly felt when Keith was leaving the team. Lance felt that Keith was running away, and to be honest, Keith was,
But Lance didn’t mean the, “Maybe you should have just stayed away.” because this boy was the most affected when Keith left
Lance really seems hurt because of this, and it affects all of them, but mostly him.
Yes, even though Keith and Lance didn’t interact like we wanted when they met again, expressions matter more than words.
You can clearly see the hurt in Lance’s face.
Back in season 3, Lance and Keith had gotten really close and then poof, Keith ran away, not only from the team, but from Lance.
Lance really was hurt by Keith running away, and you can see it. Keith was lashing out at Hunk and Allura, not Lance. Lance got into the fight and he said the first thing that hurt him and Keith the most.
Lance has never been afraid to call out Keith on his flaws,
And running away has been a big thing between them,
They could have easily put Allura or Pidge to say that line, but no, it was Lance. Lance was the most affected.
Lance has been the most hurt.
Keith left a void in Lance and Lance is slowly but surely filling in that void now that he’s back,
Lance really missed Keith, just look at the expression this boy makes when talking about him, he’s his friend, he’s the person that listens to him, and will really take him serious. Keith is the only one that pushes Lance to do better, Keith always choices Lance.
A lot of people were getting mad at my gay son, Keith for saying this to Lance,
Now, keep in mind we’re talking about the person who is bad expressing and communicating,
Look at the way Keith is standing, he’s closing himself, but yet he’s trying to open up and let Hunk know that he’s there for him.
It’s the little things Keith does that makes a difference. Even though he has grown and matured, he is always going to be Keith. He will always be somewhat bad with words, but that’s okay, because at the end people always get his message, even if it is crappy ones.
So back to the the answer he gave for letting Lance be the one to escape, read that clearly. Keith, out of all of them, choose Lance to escape.
Lance was Keith’s first option, and we see it at how fast he writes down a name.
The rest of the paladins took a minute to think about who they would pick, and by that time Keith was already writing.
Also, his the first one to finish too, Lance finishing second.
Keith can say whatever he want, but at the end of the day, he choose Lance to be free, and that was very sweet in a weird Keith way.
Plus, look at the difference in both of them,
Bob really likes pushing Keith’s buttons with repeating what Lance was saying. Lol, that chaotic frog. Anyway, of course Lance will be more open to say stuff like that, Keith is emo. Lol, he is a boy of actions not words, and in this case his actions was to pick Lance.
I also want to touch up on this,
Alright, gather around children. Let’s make this clear. Keith was NOT making fun or doubting Lance’s skill’s. This boy was messing with him, it was like a tease. Keith more than anyone knows what Lance is capable.
Keith trusts Lance. He puts Lance in positions that only someone with instinct and skills would be able to handle. Keith is making Lance grow into a leader.
And Keith knows Lance is capable of that and more. After all, Lance has always been Keith’s first choice,
And Lance is following right behind him,
And Keith is waiting for him,
Now the purpose of this post is because I don’t want people to think my son was an asshole this season because he wasn’t. He is 3 years older, he has lived with Aliens and has gained a lot of knowledge from many great leader,
He’s growing, he’s evolving, and he’s helping someone do the same thing.
