so many people are finally seeing that lance can be an amazing leader that the team really needs at the moment like he’s literally saving the team’s ass by being able to make quick decisions and directing them properly. and lbr, if the team just listened to him for once, they’d stop getting in those tight situations.

Not to cause any discourse or drama, but i feel this needs to be addressed. This isn’t what i usually do on here, so don’t expect anything like this again soon.

I’ve never been comfortable with sh@tt. Matt’s age is still not confirmed, and though there is a lot of good evidence pointing towards him being an adult, he always looked and acted like a teenager in my eyes.

And now with season 4, we have a couple of things that made me even more uncomfortable with the ship: First, Matt referring to Shiro as “sir” was a veeery big red flag for me;; And then there’s the whole flirting scene with Allura, who has been confirmed to be a teenager multiple times.

If Matt is an adult, that means Dreamworks allowed a scene of him flirting with a girl way too young for him. If he’s not an adult, he’s too young for Shiro.

This ship bothered me slightly in the past, but now i’m not touching it with a ten-foot pole. So yeah, if you still support this ship after all of this, i’d rather not have you following me :/

i’m in no way an expert in cinematography but rewatching season 4 i noticed something interesting about the scene where matt sees allura and starts getting flustered and all of that

so, this is the shot before all the anime petals appear and stuff right? allura is at the center of the shot, you can see she’s radiant and she’s smiling brightly. nothing else is around her because the shot is clearly meant to focus on her and her only because this is matt’s pov. matt is seeing her like this.

now, where have we seen a similar shot where a character stands at the center and is seen through someone else’s eyes? oh …would you look at that……

this is keith from lance’s pov. keith without any barrier. keith smiling. keith at the center of a shot we’re seeing directly from lance’s eyes. i’m not saying anything else because as i said, i’m not an expert, but if the shoe fits…
