I like that Kara doesn't call him Kal-El, but calls him Clark. In a lot of adaptations, she refers to him as Kal, but in Supergirl, she only calls him Clark (excluding the few times she refers to him as Superman). Ulike the other adaptations, Kara never knew Kal-El, she only knew Clark, and that's not just his secret identity, but also his preferred name. It's just a small detail but one I really appreciate.

"what is this about" everything!!!! the minute you critique a story or author for being misogynistic or racist or bigoted in any way, people come out of the woodwork with the "it's not that deep"s and many other phrases like it, trying to justify and defend something just because they like it.

a critique doesn't mean you can't like something! you just need to be aware of the bigotry in the media you're consuming and how it affects every part of the story. you need to be thinking critically about why certain things happen to characters of certain demographics. you need to be aware of misogynistic and racist tropes. don't just mindlessly read.

No because why is it that we have the second most homosexual Lex Luther and best Jimmy Olsen constantly interacting but they aren't the number one gay ship in this show!

I feel like they're done with Worms for the rest of the season and I think it's a missed opportunity not to have Lex and Jimmy get paired up. Or like run into eachother

You could even have Slex angst! Have Slade be jealous or have it be something he set Luther up to do against his will. I feel like it could have been fun and we just haven't gotten enough of them so far.
