im honestly not even trying to be dramatic but there aint no way you "love anime" after reminding me ever chance you got to tell me how "corny" and "cringe" it is.

𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢: theres this girl, lets call her Anna. Anna here was percived as the "sweet girl" by all my classmates. And honestly, to their credit, she lowkey was. I joined the school as a new student in the 7th grade, so second yr of middle school. I was super nervous cause for the past yr I was homeschooled so it would be my first time back in school after a long while. But thankfully, they were actually pretty chill so we started playing icebreakers. Mind you, this is when i had my PEAK obsession with anime, so obv when i was asked what i was into i excitedly told them anime. The other girls thought it was weird but didnt rlly say anything, but Anna, gosh she rlly dragged it. There was this one boy in my class that all the girls made fun of (sometimes playfuly, somtimes not) that was rlly into anime and was js kinda a loner. Anna then called him over then proceded to tell him that i said i liked him?! I was super shocked and so was he but she js laughed it off as a joke. But it wasnt, cause the whole class was laughing at me to confessing to the loner on my FIRST day no less. They eventually forgot abt it, but the embaressment stuck. For the next 2 years i stayed in that school, she would use ever chance she got to insert jabs abt how i was "obsessed" with fictional charecters and "would never get a real man" . Fast foward to today, 4 years later. We arent freinds, but js casual with eachother cause we are in the same freind group. I learned from her tt that apparently she watched jjk when it first came out, is a hardcore one piece fan, birthed isagi, has a demon slayer oc, and writes death note au fan fics. Im not saying that she cant like anime, but liking it after you tormented me for 3 yrs is lowkey wild. I honestly dont even know what to say or even think cause this kind of switch up is crazy.
