I appreciate you being willing to indulge me. They’re pretty much what I was expecting too. Some parts I’m not sure I’m really...enjoying...I guess would be the word? But I’m not really going to complain about it with the position I’m in.

I still have to find my balance. It always seems like if I try to be social during the first few weeks, I’d end up falling behind on school work because my mind thinks that the holidays are still on.

I don’t know if I would end up falling behind, but in my opinion it’s better to be safe than sorry. How are you liking classes so far?

Well, hello there, Quinn. I guess that’s something that I can do. I’ve more or less just been settling in to classes. I’ve also been exploring New York some more, the small-town boy in me is still pretty amazed by all of it. And then I’ve been ending my nights with a Skype chat with my mom and reading a book.

Now that you’re caught up on my life, what’ve you been up to lately, Quinn?

I’d describe it as a tri-fold, but it’s evolved into more of a deca-fold, at this point. I just have such an extensive list of leadership and theatrical capabilities that it takes quite an immense canvas to properly make an audience aware of all of them. Oh, hardly, Sir. Hardly. This is nothing compared to my work load in high school. I was the captain of every club, took my Glee Club to what was almost a national championship, starred as the lead in every last production and  managed to keep my excellent grade point average in strict check. Multi-tasking is second nature to me. It has to be. One can’t be a star unless she milks every opportunity for every possibly drop, after all. It left me with little to no time for the social life that I didn’t even have in the first place, but I haven’t a single regret - or doubt that I can and will handle all of this in the same, impressive manner. Your concern is noted and appreciated, though.

 I believe the approximate number comes out to a modest three-hundred and forty-two, Sir - and I feel fantastic. Albeit, a little light-headed, but fantastic, nevertheless.

I have to say, I’m pretty impressed by that Rachel. But every club, really? How did you keep up with that? It was hard for me to handle a job, house life, football, and schoolwork; I mean I managed of course, but it could be a challenge sometimes. I couldn’t imagine ever being able to be involved, let alone captain, of every single club in school. You’re kind of out of this world, Little Star, really. And of course, I just wouldn’t want to see you burn yourself out before the world gets to see how bright you can shine. After all, that voice definitely needs to be heard.

What, might I ask, did you need three hundred and forty-two stickers for exactly?

I beg your pardon, Sir. I’m afraid my cognition isn’t exactly at it’s best, this evening. I’ve been spending the day making up a presentation for the Headmistress, reiterating why I should be seen as a front-running candidate to captain both the drama and Glee clubs that are expected to start up shortly. Perhaps the excessive exposure to the adhesive on the backs of my gold-star stickers are going to my head.

That’s alright, no harm done. It was an easy mistake to make, really. What sort of presentation are you making up for that? You don’t think that being captain to both of those clubs may be a lot to take on when it comes to attending classes and stuff too? How many gold star stickers have you come in contact with today, Rachel?

No, no. I’ve been attending classes, Little Star. I mean that I’ve been in a different world, of sorts, whenever I’m not in classes and that’s why I haven’t been really talking to anyone.

I haven’t seen Times Square yet, no. I’m a little behind on my exploration of the city. So maybe we hit up Times Square, take a walk down Broadway, find something to eat...and then decide what to do from there.

That’s a long time, I’m impressed. That’s a pretty good book too, I enjoyed it.
