Some songs, once played, brings you back to the moments when you thought you’d never bother remembering. It’s like travelling back to time and all the goosebumps are creeping in that makes you laugh or shift to sudden sadness when pain overpowers. But don’t blame it to the songs, you can just really relate to the story behind it. Notice the songwriters of why they’ve come up with those words. They wouldn’t have the ideas if it wasn’t coming from their experiences and artists can’t convey the exact emotion the song wants to deliver knowing they can’t delve into it. Whether the songs make you remember something from the past, just think that there are people out there who has the same experience as yours and reminding you that you are not alone.

Long distance relationship only works if both of you are willing to fight, willing to understand, willing to trust, and willing to be there though you’re miles apart.

Willing to fight in the sense that you won’t give up your relationship. That you won’t lose hope that time will come that you’ll see each other again.

Willing to understand each other anytime. Let us say, you have your responsibilities, opposite schedules, priorities, etc. You have to understand your partner that not all the time, his/her time will be yours.

Willing to trust is the simplest and the hard thing to do. But as long as you love him/her, you don’t have to hesitate in trusting your partner especially, you’re in a long distance relationship. It’s the most important attitude you should have both because, if there’s no trust, your relationship won’t work. You’ll argue and argue all the time because of doubt.

Willing to be there. It’s not literally that you have to be on his/her side if he/she needed you. You just have to let her feel that he/she is not alone. That there’s always someone who’s willing to listen to him/her. That he/she have you.
