My 2024 Pokémon Go shinies:

A pretty cool little collection so far! I’ve always felt like POGO shinies were in their own little category. None of them will count for shiny Bingo but when I’m running through a dry streak (“”) I’ll post anything new that I’ve caught.

A pretty exciting start to the year with a slightly disappointing twist! While I did catch a shiny Buzzswole, some further examination of my (relatively old) save file revealed:

that Baldur the Buzzswole was not caught at full odds…

I know that in the initial Bingo Board 2024 post I said there wouldn’t be any guarantees that every target would be hunted at full odds. But something in my brain is telling me that this hunt hasn’t been resolved, despite me happily filling in that box.

But what am I going to do? Start a brand new Ultra Sun save file, speedrun to the end just so that I can reencounter Buzzswole and actually hunt it at full odds?!? That would be…crazy…

This year’s SHINY BINGO BOARD! Some old hunts from last year are returning, but a good majority are new! I’m super excited that I can include pokemon from GBA, DS, and 3DS games thanks to some upgrades to my setup. I also purposely avoided Scarlet/Violet hunts because frankly, I’m all Paldea’d out. One nice perk about this list is that I can reasonably simul-hunt a majority of these with the magic of ✨casual controls✨ in Sword and Shield.

Also, I believe that all of these hunts will be done full odds but I ain’t promising anything.

I want to finish up my Teal Mask video, but once that’s done, BINGO IS A GO!
