I like Neopet naming conventions because they all fall into the following categories:

Weird set of letters that don’t describe anything in particular but man do they sound good (Acara, Xweetok)

Puns (Flotsam, Jetsam)

Onomatopoeia of an animal noise (Buzz, Hissi)

Contains part of a real animal name (Cybunny, Moehog)

Real animal name but I don’t think you tried at all (Koi, Kau)

Named after real-life actor Bruce Forsyth because the original version of the pet was just a recolored photograph of him (Bruce)

The restoration of old, unconverted art via NCUCs has made all my 12-year-old Dreamies come true and I will be singing TNT's praises forever for that. However, there are still so many Paint Brushes out there and many more designs that feel uninspired to me.

I have been playing Neopets virtually nonstop since 2003 and credit the site for turning me onto art and the games industry as a career. It has been instrumental in my development as an artist and whetted my appetite for creativity and storytelling, and it has been an honour to work with them in an official capacity this year, and so much fun trying my hand at adapting the art I thought could use improving with these redraws.

If you like these designs, please feel free to share them (with proper links and credit) on the Neoboards or appropriate, official channels! Who knows, maybe if we get enough eyes on them TNT might make one or two of these official!

OP found a Kacheek in the pound named 13uttcheeks80085 (already over 500 days old) and almost immediately received a warning on their account before the Kacheek was removed by TNT.

People in the comments are rightfully pointing out how ass backwards it is for YOU to get warned for adopting a pet you didn't even name, while somehow these pets live to be YEARS old before they're found

Regardless "palliative care for neopets" did in fact send me to another plane. Bye
