you may be losing the idgaf war but they wouldn't even let me enlist. on account of my poet's temperament.
Best part of being an adult is being able to rage bait family by having basic boundaries and autonomy.
It's kinda funny when you get a bunch of likes but no reblogs like I enjoyed your post but I'd prefer if no one else saw it
s/o to this skeleton babe from 1936
This is a really poignant illustration of the seductive nature of glorifying war but that is a LOOK and she is SERVING it
I've seen Death depicted as a card dealer or other sort of gambler, a guy in a suit, a farmer, a robed apparition, and any other number of things, but this? This has to be the best Death I've seen yet. An old seductress saying "hey kid, don't you wanna die in a trench for a government that doesn't give a fuck about you, just like your dear old dad?" This goes hard as fuck.
"I used to know your daddy." kicks like a mule.
obtuse is such a good word. Bro that was so thoughtless it's triangle
“Years ago a friend of mine had a dream about a strange invention; a staircase you could descend deep underground, in which you heard recordings of all the things anyone had ever said about you, both good and bad. The catch was, you had to pass through all the worst things people had said before you could get to the highest compliments at the very bottom. There is no way I would ever make it more than two and a half steps down such a staircase, but I understand its terrible logic: if we want the rewards of being loved we have to submit to the mortifying ordeal of being known.”
— I Know What You Think of Me, Tim Kreider for the New York Times
after YEARS of seeing this quote online and finding it to be the most deeply and resoundingly profound writing i finally found the source article and absolutely nothing could prepare me for this opening paragraph
Okay but the whole article is really interesting and also contains this quote which I’ve never heard before but really like:
“Anyone worth knowing is inevitably also going to be exasperating”
Sonic has to be one of those one-in a-million genius character designs.
Like the visual direction of his quills facing downward but his tail curving upward making the elements poking out from his back triangulate, it makes him look like he's in a constant smear frame from how fast he is.
Like people only usually brush upon the way his design combines visually aggressive / cute elements, but the actual flow of his design is something I don't hear talked about as much
HARK !!! I SEE HER !! RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF POST !! RAISE THEM MEN FROM THEIR SLUMBER WE'VE A BEAST TO SLAY
