On my Fahrenheit x Curie feels.
I have this idea of Curie and Amari being science friends/lowkey mentor and apprentice (both of them taking both roles at times) and Fahrenheit and Curie becoming friends during her time there… then, after being friends for a while, falling in love.
Two very smart women talking about smart people shit. Fahrenheit teaching her how to defend herself both with her mind and a weapon, and Curie teaching her things she would have had the resources to learn like another language or science stuff. Fahrenheit teaching her how to barter and slight of hand tricks (for card games of course. no other reason).
Curie using her newfound confidence in protecting herself to go on trips... to find more books. Fahrenheit going with her for protection, even though she hates leaving Goodneighbor and Hancock without her even if it is only for a couple hourse. Because who would protect Curie better than her. Curie happily sharing books she finds with Fahrenheit and Hancock, and Hanccok growing a soft spot for her, adding her to his collection of strays (MacCready, Fahrenheit, Sole, Cait).
Fahrenheit falls first, cause Curie is oblivious to her flirting and thinks Fahrenheit is just very friendly. And Fahrenheit won't just go and kiss someone who has no interest in being kissed. Or equally as bad, talk about her feelings!
So she's holding out, waiting and hoping for Curie to notice. Only Curie doesn't notice the flirting, but her own reactions to Fahrenheit's presence, even the thought of her. She has to talk to Amari or Sole about it, but she realizes that she has fallen in love.
After this realization, maybe even a couple of years into being 'just friends', she goes to Fahrenheit and confesses very matter-of-factly.
It is a great scientific debate after all: can a synth fall in love? Apparently they can and she and Fahrenheit are proof- Fahrenheit cuts her off for the first time ever to ask if she can kiss Curie. Curie says yes.
Side note, their shipname could be Furie (Fury) or Curinheit (cure-in-height) both of which are cute.
