“Accident?” Sora repeated his words softly, letting them weight on her mind. The rebel watched Junyoung closely, the way his eyes misted over and how his gaze was lost in the mass of books ahead. It was clear he wasn’t with her in the library anymore, no. Junyoung was lost in a world of his own, wherever that may have been or in whatever memory he was revisiting. It was when his body jerked and that same pained expression made itself evident on his features that he came back to her. Sora nodded understandingly and let her hand wander to his thigh, placing it comfortingly over his hand, rubbing her thumb in circles over his soft skin. “It’s okay, you tried,” she sighed. “We’re both crippled, what are you gonna do, such is life, my shitty shitty life. We shouldn’t stay her though, out in the open I mean. Behind a shelf or maybe in that tight ass supply closet in the corner would be better. We’ll still be sitting ducks but at least we’ll be hidden ducks.”
“Yeah.” He said as he turned his head slightly to look at Sora for a moment, before his eyes wandered down to their hands. He stayed silent as she spoke, he slowly pushed himself up and tried his best to ignore the growing pain.
“I guess we’ll hide in the supply closet, but only if there’s room to sit down.” He said, a pained expression playing his face. He looked around a little, his mind somewhat absent from his discomfort. “Where is it?”

“Cakes, actually. I don’t have a dish that I like to make the most, as long as it tastes good at the end. I don’t really care what I make.” She chuckled softly. “That sounds really corny, doesn’t it?”
“Cakes, huh.” He puckered up his lips at the thought of all the various cakes there were in the world. His brain began to hurt, there were too many. “Cake is good, I like cake.” He said, his eyes lighting up as a light bulb over his head turned on, not really, but if this were a cartoon, it would’ve happened in that moment.
“Would you teach me how to bake a cake?” He asked, somewhat like a child who just found out rainbows existed.
ksxsora:
Deciding to ignore his comment about her being the only one calling him insane, Sora welcomed the new presence next to her in the form of the stoner. The warmth of another body was comforting, even if she wanted to wring his neck out right now. “You’re lying,” Sora said flatly. In response to his false reassuring worse that came with that clenched jaw, she could only shake her head and ignore everything else that came from his lips. “If you think you can pull one over on the queen of lies, you’re desperately mistaken my friend. So what’s wrong?“ she asked again quietly, being conscious of trying to keeping her voice down. This new predicament did well to distract the rebel but also had her nerves at an all time high. Not surprising considering now they were both incapacitated and stuck, great.
Junyoung chewed at his lower lip a little, looking at another library desk, to avoid looking at Sora as she spoke. Staring down at a book that sat on the other desk.
He groaned and spoke in a soft voice. “I...I got into an accident,” He started, keeping his eyes trained on the book as his mind flashed back to only a couple of years ago, the car accident he was in and the hospital visits that came after. “It messed my back up.” He shrugged a little, and instantly regretted it as the movement sent a shock wave of pain through his back, which caused him to flinch.
Since his high had finally passed, and although Sora was by no means heavy, just the act of picking her up, was giving his back a massive flare-up. So now he sat with an aching back, next to a girl with a broken leg and a dwindling supply of joints in his jean pocket.

ksxsunhee:
She smiled at the other’s embarrassed reactions. “Quite a bit, yes.” A soft chuckle left her lips to the others question. C smiled back at him “Yes, you could say so. Why? Is there any dishes in particular that you would like me to make?”
He made a soft ‘ooh’ sound and nodded his head, fiddling with the empty packet between his fingers, thinking to himself for a moment before talking.
"What do you like to make the most?” He asked, grinning at C’s chuckle.
ksxsora:
Disregarding the rebel’s pleads, Junyoung went ahead to pitch his plan anyways, trying to reassure her it would be okay but to no avail. Sora didn’t believe him, there was not a fiber in her being that could fathom the idea of the two of them making it out unscathed especially with her current condition. In response she just rolled her eyes and pulled her hand out of his, trying to put up a front to mask the fact that she was actually in fact terrified of their current situation. “You’re actually insane, has anyone ever told you that?” Sora scoffed, looking him up and down. Biting her lip, she looked away as she tried to buy herself some time, anything to get him off that crazy plan of his.
That was when she noticed his subtle shift in behavior. The stoner was displaying signs of discomfort. The way he bit his lip and how his hand constantly grazed the back of his torso, something was up. Did he injure himself? “What’s wrong?” Sora asked curiously, peering down at his lower back before she looked back up at him. “I know you didn’t pull that picking me up, I’m not that heavy. You’re okay right?”
As the rebel pulled her hands away, Junyoung’s mostly optimistic demeanor slowly vanished. He let out a soft sigh and nodded his head to her words.
“You, a lot lately.” He mumbled quietly, moving to sit next to Sora on the library desk. His back ached and it was slowly turning into a shooting pain every time he moved.
Junyoung’s ears perked up at Sora’s words, he didn’t think she’d notice his discomfort, he was trying to hide his pain, but obviously, he wasn’t good at hiding it. He shrugged slightly, a shot of pain shooting through his back as he did, his face scrunched up, but he tried to ignore the pain.
“No...it’s nothing to worry about.” He smiled, trying to reassure the rebel that he was fine. He clenched his jaw tightly, just for a moment before speaking again. “We should...try to se-secure this place if we aren’t leaving.”

ksxsunhee:
C couldn’t hide the shock upon hearing the male’s words. “You poor child, that’s so unhealthy.” She nodded gently to his next statements. They made sense, but, still. “I see, I was like that too, actually, but I always had a culinary interest so I’d always cook and bake at home.” Her accent came out, which made her lower her voice just slightly. Hopes that it wouldn’t be too noticeable. A soft chuckle left her lips to the other’s questions. “Yeah, I started cooking when I was like- 14? No one has complained about it so I must be.”
He chuckled softly again, even more embarrassed than before. He knew it was unhealthy, but he really didn’t know how to cook, so it’s all he could do since he didn’t want to bother anyone about cooking him a meal.
“You must know how to cook a lot, right?” He wondered, his eyes lighting up a little. “Are you...a, err, a f-foodie?” He asked with a bright smile.

ksxsunhee:
“And now.. We wait.”
“90% of my meals include pasta, so yeah I’d say so.” She smirked, curiosity taking the best of her. “How are you surviving this place without knowing how to cook pasta?”
He moved a little, resting his weight against the counter near the stove. He looked at C as they waited for the pasta to cook.
“Oh...ah...instant meals and takeaway, mostly.” He chuckled softly, scratching the back of his head with a couple of fingers, a little embarrassed. “I’m not used to cooking, I’ve never had to.” He admitted, his cheeks flushing a little.
“Do you...cook...a lot? Like, are you...uh-uhm, good at it?”
ksxsora:
“I’m complaining now, not later, this is a dumb idea what the fu- Hey!” In a surprise attack, the stoner picked her up off of the ground like she weight nothing and carried her over to one of the nearby study desks. It took a far bit of restraint for Sora to not scream bloody murder at him for what he did, she had to bite her freaking cheek just to keep herself quiet. The rebel winced, as the movement in combination with Junyoung’s long strides caused her bouncing limb to send a wave of pain throughout her lower body with each step he took. When he finally set her on the table her hand automatically went down to touch her calf but to her surprise her palm wasn’t met with the denim material of her jeans but something softer, something plush. Looking down, she noticed her leg was wrapped up in a makeshift splint with that forsaken hoodie and those weird straps.
“What did yo-?” Sora started to question but mid sentence the stoner revealed the rest of his plans which prompted another outburst from the rebel. “Wait no we can’t leave,” she shook her head and pleaded again, even missing the opportunity to cash in on her yelling offer in untypical Sora fashion. Her voice quieter and softer, barely above a whisper now. “I told you not to come. Sure you made it here but we won’t make it out of here, especially not with me. I can barely even walk Junyoung. I’m scared…” she looked up at him, pleading with her eyes.
Like a too-optimistic puppy, Junyoung still didn’t think of giving up. He nodded his heard as Sora spoke, he knew she wouldn’t agree and would think his idea was a bad plan, but he didn’t want to give up just yet.
“I know you told me not to come, but we can’t just stay here,” He began to speak, chewing at his lower lip as the pain in his back started to ache more. “We can at least get downstairs. I know we can!” He said in a soft voice, his eyebrows lifting in an attempt to convince Sora to, at least, this plan.
He reached out, taking Sora’s hand into both of his, in some sort of comforting manner, looking into her eyes as he squeezed her hand. “We can do this.”

ksxsunhee:
“That sounds interesting actually.”
She placed the meat inside the pot along with some condiments to enhance the flavor. “Basically yeah.” She grabbed a small amount of pasta and placed it inside the pot, showing him how to do it. “Like that, now, you try it.”
He watched C closely, nodding his head as the pasta she took splashed into the boiling water. He dumped the rest of the pasta into the pot, glancing at C as he did.
“So...do you cook pasta a lot?”
ksxsora:
At his loud sigh, the rebel rolled her eyes in discontent however her wandering eyes didn’t wander for long as they were caught when they glanced over the new object of interest in Junyoung’s hands. In confusion, Sora watched him fiddle with the newly found backpack straps clutched between his fingers. This oddball stoner couldn’t have had her more confused if he tried. In all honesty, she was in a daze and on the verge of losing it so she just looked away, maybe if she didn’t pay attention it would unmanifest itself and she’d be given a better reality to deal with, yeah right. It wasn’t until Junyoung voiced his idea that she was pulled right back in. “You’re going to what?” Sora looked down at the backpack and then back up to the stoner before you shaking her head fiercely. “Are you fucking crazy, no. No, no Junyoung, no. It’s not happening.”
As if Junyoung’s high had mostly vanished, he was thinking clearly, but he wasn’t exactly the best thinking. And even if his back had started to ache, and even if the pain was only going to get worse, he wanted to get Sora out of here. He knew she wouldn’t agree, but he had to try something. He couldn’t just sit there, waiting for the unknown.
“You can complain later.” He said as he leaned down, slipping one arm under Sora’s legs, and wrapping his other arm around her back, he pulled her body closer to his own before lifting her up, holding her bridal style. Briskly walking over to a library desk that was nearby, he sat her down.
Quietly, and hopefully without Sora really noticing, since Junyoung was expecting her to start to whine about this being a bad idea, and for picking her up without notice, he wrapped his hoodie around her leg, being as gentle as possible. After which, he wrapped the arm straps from the backpack around Sora’s leg, securing his hoodie in place.
“We’re getting out of here, and when we do, you can yell at me.”
ksxsora:
“If you think we’re getting out of here without looking like swiss cheese you’re out of your mind,” the rebel noted cautiously as she eyed Junyoung closing in. As he drew closer to her that goofy looking grin was gone from his lips and replaced with a more serious expression. “Jury what?” Sora asked, looking on in wonder at the stoner who was now baffling her with his odd actions. What the fuck did he take his jacket off for and why was he trying to measure her leg with it now?
Sora had been bawling her eyes out before Junyoung got here, his arrival stopped the waterworks but her tear stained cheeks and puffy red eyes were a dead give away. In trying to distract herself from whatever it was that Junyoung was doing, Sora tried to wipe away the evidence but to no avail, her face already said it all. She hated being like this, being weak, having to rely on others, but with both her mental and physical condition right now she didn’t have much of a choice.
“You’re already insane,” Sora scoffed, meeting his gaze. “What is it?” Already knowing she wasn’t going to like what he had to say.
“Well it’s worth a try, right?” He asked, looking into Sora’s eyes for a moment before he looked away, sighing loudly. His eyes drifted downwards, where he saw something under the bookcase on the other side of them. He reached down and pulled whatever it was out, it was a backpack. His eyes lit up as his original idea changed in his head and he looked at Sora with a goofy grin.
He quickly began to undo the arm straps from the backpack, hurriedly pulling them off. He held them in his hands, assessing the situation in his mind, with his stupid idea burning a hole brightly into his brain.
“I’m gonna carry you, on my back. But,” He started to say, leaning in a little and talking in a lower voice, as if he’d been shushed by a librarian. “We’re gonna secure your leg. If it comes down to it...it won’t be too bad, I got a pocketknife.” He said, tilting his head and his eyebrows raised, as if it’d get Sora to agree with his plan. He doubted it, but like he said before, it was worth a try.

“I’d imagine so, what else is involved, if you don’t mind me asking?”
She looked over her shoulder. “Leave them there for now, we’ll add them to the meat when it’s ready.” A small smile appeared on her lips. “Do you want to put in the pasta?”
He hummed a little. “Digital mock-ups, stuff like advertisements and logos, that type of thing.” He said with a little nod.
Leaving the veggies on the cutting board, he took a few steps to C, grabbing the package of pasta on the way, opening it with a quick pull of the top corners. “Do I just...dump it all in there?”

“Uhh, that’s cool, I take it that you’re good at drawing then?” She looked at the boy for a second, smiling. “Biochemistry, it’s not a huge class, but it isn’t small either, which is perfect I guess.”
She finished preparing the meat and walked to the stove, where she placed another pot, to cook the meat. She glanced at the other pot. “The water will start to boil in a few minutes, then we’ll be able to cook the pasta.
He shrugged once more, gathering up all of the diced veggies onto the cutting board. “I guess, it’s more than just drawing though...” He turned a little, to look at the girl. “Biochemistry? That sounds pretty cool.”
“What do I do with the veggies?” He asked, pointing a finger towards cutting board.

ksxsunhee:
A soft chuckle left the girls lips at the males adorable grin. “Alright, you do that and I’ll prepare the meat.” The girl took the meat out of the container and began to prepare it.
“You and I both, that’s why we’re here.” She chuckled. Curiosity started to do its work when the room became silent. Maybe it was a good time to get to know her pupil. “So, what are you studying?” She didn’t care much about cliques and she had decided that maybe it wouldn’t be a good ice-breaker to just ask why he didn’t know how to cook something like pasta.
Junyoung began to slice the vegetables, paying most of his attention to what he was doing with the knife, he didn’t feel like losing a finger, at least not today. He perked up when he heard the girl’s question.
“Graphic arts. It’s a small class...which is kinda boring.” He said, shrugging his shoulders. “What about you?”

The rebel was so preoccupied freaking out over the lack of text responses from Junyoung, she didn’t even register the door opening or shutting just a few feet away from her. It wasn’t until she heard a deep voice clear their throat that she dropped her phone in surprise and looked up. Honestly half expecting to be shot in the face her breath stopped, it was when she saw the goofy stoner’s face that she let out a sigh of relief. God, she wanted so bad just to kick him for that, if only she could.
Sora looked up at him hesitantly before her eyes wandered down to the perfectly rolled object between his fingers and then once again back up to him. Without a word she snatched the joint from between his fingers and brought it to her lips. “Y-you’re so fucking stupid, you know that?” she said in a harsh whisper, her lips trembling as she held the joint between them. Pausing her insults for a second, Sora took a hit before handing the lit item back over to Junyoung, not that ‘mr three joints’ needed any more.
Even though it wasn’t meant to be amusing, Sora’s expression when she noticed Junyoung amused him, resembling a cat that had just got caught doing something they shouldn’t be, it was one for the books.
He got a bit closer after she took his joint, looking the rebel over, noting that she had gotten beaten up a little, he assumed it was from when she broke her leg. He stayed silent as she insulted him, and as she took a hit. He quietly took his joint back and before putting it out, he took a short hit of his own. It was time to put his serious hat on, and get Sora out of the school and to the safe zone.
Looking over Sora’s leg, he stayed silent for a moment, probably too long of a moment. “We gotta get you outta here,” He finally began, unzipping his hoodie and taking it off, holding it in his hands. “We’re gonna have to jury-rig this shit.” While he wasn’t a medical student, he’d read one too many first aid books and saw way too many how-to articles on what to do in a desperate situation, and this was definitely desperate situation.
Crouching down, he held his hoodie out, somewhat measuring it above Sora’s injured leg, taking small mental notes on how it’d fit around her leg and what he’d fit to it.
“Alright,” He said softly. “You gonna think I’m insane, but I have an idea.”
