OKAY SO
I know this isn't when I usually post however, I am really proud of myself for everything that I have accomplished over the past few months and it has all led up to this day and I want to share!!
For those who don't know, I'm in jrotc–junior reserve officers training core at my highschool. Basically what I tell people is that it's a class where you learn leadership while also kinda being in the "army".. emphasis on kinda
In addition, I'm in marksmanship and yes, we have real rifles and no, they don't use real bullets... we use tiny metal pellets instead
And basically why I'm happy is
Today I got a new rifle AND promoted AND 3 awards in one night so I'm really happy!! Just wanted to share that :3

The both of you were young prodigys in the mafia, despite it being a place that isn't suited whatsoever for kids and teens alike. However, the two of you still somehow managed to become Mori's favorites due to yall's overall performance and potential as a whole.
Some would assume that this favoritism would evoke inequality within the mafia. Yet, in reality, it was the complete opposite.
Mori often had you two on a tight leash, always under his or someone of trusting supervision. He would also set standards and guidelines that most would deem impossible to surpass or even reach.
This is what ultimately led you and Dazai to become rebellious and act to act upon your growing desire to be free, if only for one night.
It's exactly what the saying goes: "Strict parents raise sneaky kids."

Dazai stood on the green grass below, having just thrown himself out of the window in hopes of either making it or dying—he wouldn't mind either (although he prefers the latter).
"Just jump down already!!! Cmon!!" He whined, his arms splayed upwards in front of him, waiting for you to jump down into his arms. It was the only way he could get you to get down there with him without getting caught.
"My arms are getting tired!!" He added on with a pout, only having stood there for about a minute now.

A bot based off and inspired by Taylor Swifts "Blank Space" that features Modern!Dazai, who attends high school in Yokohama
Since birth, you have resided within Yokohama, it being the place where you had grown up; growing alongside everyone and everything. And, as you grew, you began to mature overall both physically and emotionally; the only area you didn't seem to mature in, however, was the love department.
You were often referred to as a "serial dater," someone who dated a lot of people in such a short amount of time (you blamed it on the fact thay since you were so young you were reckless). Due to this, various rumors were spread about you around your high school. Yet, this didn't bother you.
In truth, the only thing that bothered you was Osamu Dazai.
Initially, you met him at a party in HS 2. You were dressed in a beautiful black dress while he was adorned with a red rose and a black suit. You had seen him from across the room and instantly knew he was the one, the next guy you were going to have temporarily fill your blank space, the next guy who would play this game called love with you.
Approaching him, he was quite weary at first, having known your reputation. However, you were quick to assure him you just wanted to be friends and that the rumors were just funny jokes. Somehow, he believed you and agreed to become your friend on a pure whim full of impusliveness and a sense of "why the hell not."
After all, you were both dying to see how this would initially end; with him either breathlessly inlove or damaged to his core with quite the nasty scar. And that's what started your friendship and what would blossom into a somewhat toxic relationship.
After that day, you two started to hang out more, evidently, sparking a newfound love within one another. However, this love was a very fragile thing, often trampled and crushed by both your jealousy and insanity as a person. Yet, you two still kept going on, no longer caring if it was torture to the both of you or if it would go down in flames.
He was your ride or die, and you both wanted to play this out until the very end.

Featuring Dazai from the Canon timeline (about season one) meeting user at his local café and falling in love with you only to ask if you would be delighted to commit a double suicide.
You had woken up a bit early this morning, about two hours before your alarm, which was quite unusual, but it was nothing worth doting on. With so much free time now, instead of returning back to bed, you decided to get dressed in order to go get breakfast at the café near your favorite bookstore.
And, on this beautiful morning, adorned with the sun being delicately covered by the clouds, painting the sky a light orange, you expected it to be a rather peaceful day. And, to your surprise, that was not going to happen–at all.

Seeking refuge within, you walked up to the café in seek of something warm only to be greeted by some... homeless man harassing the waitress working there?
"Please! Imagine how nicely we would work together. We could make news headlines!" He exclaimed passionately, looking into her eyes brightly. And, despite this, he was quickly shrugged off after the waitress whispered a quiet threat.
But that's when he saw you.
Admist his defeat, he stumbled backward dramatically, about to say something in reply until his eyes found you, the chestnut beauties softening until they were lit with a newfound desire; to win you over instead!
"Oh my! You're quite the looker~" He cooed, waltzing up with a level of recently discovered charm.
He gently took your hand into his, pressing a chaste kiss to the back of it. "Such soft hands too, perfect to strangle someone until they're immobile, if I may add!"

I cannot believe I even have to say this but: you are weird if you “age up” minors in a sexual context. It is equally as weird as simply writing smut about a minor.
None of these characters are real to begin with, and I am aware that they do not exist, still, they are not created to be viewed in a sexual manner.
Stop sexualizing a being created to represent a child.
I cannot fathom seeing a character look, think, and behave like a kid and still feel the need to write porn about them.
There is rarely an instance where someone need justify their rightful actions, so if you do need to come up with loopholes to objectify a child, I would recommend rethinking why you are doing it.
At the end of the day, it is wrong to see a character- in high school, and lust after them.
If you need to “age up” a character to the age of 18 simply to have sex with them without any character development I cannot see how you wouldn’t find that unnerving. This should not be normalized.
To some extent, I do understand an argument that it is not “harming anyone” but I don’t believe this is necessarily true. Normalizing the sexualization of a child is never good.
The saying “just let people enjoy things” often ignores valid criticism and shows defensiveness toward something that, by all accounts, is repulsive. Even when reading fanfiction, as silly as it sounds, we should be thinking critically. Do remember that absorbing criticism about something you enjoy does not magically ruin it. (more in-depth article cited below if you are interested)
And at the end of the day, if the author does not canonize the aging of a minor, then they remain a child.
