Instead of trying to fill paragraphs describing everything, choose one or two things that breathe.

• The way the floorboards creak in one specific spot • A stain on the ceiling no one acknowledges • A flickering light that makes gives everyone a slight headache • The smell of something burnt and forgotten • A crooked family photo • Dust in the sunlight • A cracked mug someone refuses to throw away • The hum of an appliance in silence • A chair that wobbles • A window that should open, but doesn't • Shoes lined up too neatly • A plant flourishing, or showing signs of obvious neglect • The sound of neighbors arguing • A clock that’s slightly off

Specificity creates immersion, not necessarily paragraphs. One good detail can carry a scene.

A while ago, i saw someone on tiktok saying that theyre joining the yumeshipping community and then asked who they should yumeship with.

i think this is one of the stupidest questions ive ever heard. What baffled me more is that people in the comments were actually giving them characters.?

Okay before you come at me, heres why it weirded me out. Ill say it. DONT yumeship only because you think its trendy. For me, i was a selfshipper back when i was a little kid, imagining fucking BART SIMPSON was my boyfriend💔💔💔 i was young dont hate me. But like, i genuinely loved the character. Not just because it was cool. I didnt think it was cool. I just did it, because it felt right i guess. I thought i was the only person back then. Okay, enough of the flashback. I think you should only yumeship if you love a character. I genuinely love shinobu, more than ive ever loved anyone.

My point is, dont selfship if you dont have a character that you view more as just a character. If that character is just another character for you, DONT SELFSHIP.

Things have been crazy (as usual) lately. Took a trip with Touya, and the flight back that was supposed to happen on Friday won't be happening until Monday. But! I took pictures of things before we left, confident that opportunities would arise to share. 😂 It took five days, but here we are! 🩵 Today, I wanted to show the postcard and badge I received from ZenMarket. They were so inexpensive, but the shipping was no joke. 😭 The Touya badge (my heart nearly explodes every time I look at him) came with a Shigaraki one. They're really nice and glittery! 🩵💙🩵

I never rant about this because it's such old news but you could never make me hate Shigaraki.

To this day you cannot convince me that he isn't one of the biggest victims in the main lore of MHA.

Like this man was GROOMED.

He was manipulated into thinking that the world and the heroes in it were inherently evil. He was groomed into this individual who was "born to cleanse that evil" and "save those like him". And then told that everyone would view him as a monster but they just don't understand because they're the brainwashed ones and they don't understand that this is the price you have to pay to create this perfect world free of such evil (hero society).

All this is coming from his parental figure who "saved him" and took him in when nobody else would despite his "sins".

You're not allowed to feel anger because you're a Villain.

One take that I have seen multiple times from the MHA community is the idea that the Villians aren't or shouldn't be allowed to feel angry at the deaths of their companions. When Toga swears revenge on Hawks. When Spinner calls Midoriya a murder. "Why are they angry? They killed other people. They should expect the same in turn."

The worst are the people who say it like it's a question. Like they're confused as to why the Villians are angry at the death of their comrades. Like they believe that anger is only for the "good," only for the Heroes.

When a Villain kills a Hero and another Hero swears vengeance, the Hero's anger is seen as righteous. But when a Hero kills a Villain, and another Villain swears vengeance, the Villain's anger is seen as unjustified.

It almost feels as if they expect the Villains to know they're supposed to lose. To know they're supposed to die. They should know that by being a Villain, regardless of how they acquired that label, they are destined to die, and they should not feel anger when that death comes.

They should simply accept that that is the way of the world.
