hi so i haven't made a wbk post in ages but i'm watching season 2 with a friend and noticed something,,,

am i crazy or does this feel . something something suo and whats going on with him rn and how we're all looking back at every scene he's been in ever

suo is like,,, separate from everyone else, this feels significant somehow but i don't have the brain power to get all cool and analysis about it.

reviving my tumblr for one (1) singular post about forsaken because it's all i've got in my head these days fandom wise.

two time and their guilt,,, i see a decent bit of content where they regret the act of the murder itself, and i..? sort of don't agree, actually. there is guilt, lots of it surely, but with how devoted they still are.. i think it'd get filtered through that faith? if that makes any sense

the guilt is filtered and misplaced, as to align with what they've been lead to believe

two time does not regret killing azure, they do however, regret causing them pain, they regret that they cried, that it didn't go as planned. THAT is how i see it, personally.

they're still devoted to the spawn, they still believe in what they've been taught, so why would they regret what they view as the correct thing to do, the right thing to do for their lover,,,

i also don't subscribe to the idea that the sacrifice was only supposed to be benefitial to two time, i don't fuck with the "you killed me for YOUR second life" crowd godbless

Old dude came in the shop and when I said "lemme know if you have any questions" he goes "what was the name of Alexander the Great's horse," thinking he was so funny. I told him Bucephalus, and he was so disappointed. Like his whole day was hanging on beating me at trivia. He says "you're only the second person who knew that" and I said "well, probably the third if you count Alexander the Great." He left without buying anything, and did not say goodbye. I think I honestly hurt his weird little feelings! Sorry I'm a bitch, old man!

the beauty of the world is that there are people out there having basically indistiguishable gender and sexuality experiences and one has several microlabels and an army of pride flags, one says "idk i guess im nonbinary or something" and the other is comfortably cis with a little flexibility. and all of them are correct because your identity is whatever you make of it.

I recall someone who'd never been to Korea complain about how the korean shows on netflix are amazingly written but the actors are always so bad and overacting in an annoying way, but it turned out that this person just had no idea that that's just how korean people talk. They'd never encountered korean culture outside of the shows, and the thought that this "flaw" they spotted in every show might just be an accurate representation of real life.

My father hated the way that american movies always had to underscore everything they wanted to say with the subtlety of an anvil. It never occurred to me to ask him why he keeps watching them if he hates them so much. He hated the lack of subtlety and was always quick to point out that these movies were made for a stupid, uneducated audience that wouldn't pick up on subtle details or context clues so everything has to be all in-your face.

Anyway I woke up this morning to news that in the US they publicly shot a guy who was known to say shit like "sometimes people get shot but that's the acceptable price for having guns everywhere" while he was sitting under a big-ass banner saying "PROVE ME WRONG".

Stuck my hand into my totebag to get my wallet and instead was met with id say 5 or 6 centimetres of straight unsalted butter. Just sank right into it. Now this raises some eyebrows but I shan't elaborate
