More specifically, it focuses on the prominent women featured in the series, from Cecily Lightwood to Drusilla Blackthorn. If you are looking to meet and make friends with new or old people of the fandom, be involved with monthly events/challenges, create content, or are simply active in the fandom and want to appreciate creative content surrounding the women in the Shadow and Down World, then this network is for you. Clary has always liked girls.

She’s always liked girls in a pretty standard sort of way. She thinks girls are awesome and are fun to hang out with and making a new friend in one always makes something bright and colorful bloom in Clary’s chest.

But isn’t that always the case when you make a new friend? She barely remembers a time when there wasn’t a Simon in her life but she’s always been sure the same must have been true when she made friends with him. She does remember this to have been the case when they both started hanging out with Maureen, with Clary feeling like she was flying two feet above ground for like a month following.

And when her entire life fell from under her feet and dropped her into a world she could only have imagined in her wildest dreams - or in some of the nightmares that came calling after one of their horror movie marathons, - and she became friends with Izzy so quickly and seamlessly it almost felt unreal, the same was true then as well.

Isabelle Lightwood was made of fire. At least that was the way it felt to Clary any time they spent time together, Izzy laughed loudly and grinned easily and fought fiercely with her entire heart for everything she believed in no matter if it was against demons, rogue Shadowhunters or the bigotry of her own culture and family.

She hardly remembers because her heart kept pounding, a twisting feeling in her gut that dared to rise through her throat and choke her. There is one brother, beaten and bruised and bloody and threatened by death and then there is the other, unconscious and with time slipping through his fingers, somewhere in Magnus’s loft. So, she doesn’t pay much attention to the werewolves, to Luke Garroway’s glowing eyes and the girl opposite of Jace bowing her head in submission.

By the time Izzy shows up at Maia’s apartment, scent tinged with notes of bitter frustration and sour annoyance, it’s nearly midnight.

Maia marks her place in her novel, sets it down on the coffee table and goes to meet Izzy in the entryway. Her clothes are plastered to her body from the downpour outside, and black streaks of mascara are trailing down underneath her eyes.

“I’m sorry I’m late,” she says, sliding off her sodden jacket. “Raj totally screwed up his mission, and I had to clean up his mess and…” Sighing heavily, she steps forward and wraps her arms tightly around Maia’s waist.

“Must be a day ending in y,” Maia comments, pressing a soft kiss to Izzy’s temple, trying not to shiver when cold rain drips down her cheek. The remark elicits a soft laugh from Izzy, and her scent changes subtly, becomes more floral.

“You’re right. Just when I think it can’t get more like a bad soap opera, something else happens.”

“Well, I’m sure Alec can handle anything that comes up between now and tomorrow morning,” Maia says, sliding her arms away from Izzy’s neck only so she can take her hand and lead her down the hallway. “Do you want a hot bath?”

“Only if you join me with some wine,” Izzy answers. Even though Maia can smell the exhaustion on her, the mischievous smile on her face is anything but tired.

Maia returns the smile and leans in for a quick kiss.

“Deal.”

Cecily & Tessa + Met online AU

Cecily and Tessa both love Harry Potter, Tessa read all the books, Cecily prefers the movies. One day, Cecily finds Tessa’s fics in the Linny tag, and instantly becomes her biggest fan. When Tessa notices how enthusiast her new follower is about her fics, she goes to check out her blog, and, after feeling like she just found her true soulmate, she follows her back, then sends her a message thanking her for all the comments on her fics. The mutuals quickly establish a solid friendship, talking practically every day, and find comfort in eachother to deal with the complicated situations at their homes. They bond over their similar circumstances -Tessa’s alcholic and gambler brother, and Cecily’s missing brother and gambler father- and end up having the whole fandom shipping them. At first, the both take it as a joke -because how could they possibly be IN LOVE with someone they haven’t even met????- but as the days go by, the girls start thinking their followers may be right.
