As part of my inner critic work, I am posting the worst and laziest collage that I have ever made. Good for you for seeing this masterpiece.
I bring a certain Anne Boleyn, Reformed Catholic, royal mistress, European manners, adulterous type of energy to the party that people REALLY donāt seem to understand

One is restarting The Artistās Way by Julia Cameron š
I first picked up this book when I was only 19, and I had no idea what the hell was going on. Quite natural, of course, and Iām interested to see if I can stick to it now that Iām ever so wise in my early twenties. We shall see.
12 weeks isnāt that long. Right?
Finally joined SAA (Supporting All Artists) and I recommend all UK-based creatives to do the same!

There is something especially painful about detesting the place you come from.
The environment, the culture, the society (or the lack of it). The jobs people are forced to do, the way people live, the prejudices and the modes of thinking which allow for no difference and no progress.
There is no uplifting tone to this post. Sometimes you are just dropped into a place that youāre not supposed to be, and your purpose in life is to leave it behind.
Embrace hobbies that can never bring you financial profit. Embrace joy for the sake of it.
Embrace learning without getting a qualification. Embrace exercise without the goal to lose weight. Embrace sitting on your arse and staring at the wall if thatās what your heart desires.
Donāt let anyone tell you what you should and shouldnāt do with your spare time. Hell, including me.
Never forget that you get one precious life.
Donāt forget to do what you truly want wherever responsibly possible.
The Earth is alive and I am too, what a privilege. As a witch I just love the land, and although itās a complicated relationship sometimes, I always feel so much more confident when I get out there and touch that grass.
Hope everyone in the UK is also enjoying the weather without burning to a crisp.
With love and sip of white wine,
Lady Breathe.
The Samhain Ultramarathon | 100 Days of Witchcraft
"Etheri, why are you talking about Samhain already? It's still Spring where you live..." shhh...
October 31st is my favorite day to be a witch! I find myself looking forward to it throughout various times of the year. So, this year, I decided to make a little "challenge" for myself in the days leading up to Samhain, and I wanted to invite others to participate ^.^
Starting July 23rd, I'd like to invite you all to join me for what I'm calling "The Samhain Ultramarathon!"
The challenge itself is to touch your Craft for 100 days in a row! Starting July 23rd, the task is to do something, anything, witchy each day, counting down to October 31st. Some days can be as simple as just updating your grimoire or lighting a stick of incense, while other days can be more elaborate spells or rituals. The ultimate goal is to touch your practice at least once a day, even for just one minute, for 100 consecutive days! It'll be like a spiritual marathon... hence the name :P
I'm sharing this now, over two months out, to give anyone who may want to participate time to coordinate! If you want to share your preparations and if you want to share your "marathon experience" once the challenge itself starts, please use the tag #TheSamhainUltramarthon !
