There are many things that bring me happiness but Rhubarb Season is by far absolute bliss! It's very much the start of the season and it hasn't quite made it to NY quite yet but alas it's one of the perks of working in the kitchen. I anticipated its arrival the past few days AH! There's something deeply gratifying about making whip cream by hand. There's no skill no frills just a bit of muscle and dedication. My first Chef told me that when I thought I was done to hold the bowl over my head and if I did it right it would stay in the bowl.
