BNHA Name Meanings

Hello! So, I really really love name meanings and symbolism in names, and since I’ve already made a ton of posts like this on my sideblog for the Persona series, I thought it’d be a good idea to come over here and make some for My Hero Academia! This is only gonna be Class 1-A for now because there are a lot of characters but I will be doing more of these to cover other characters.

In the 4th gif, the direction of the ropes each of them was pulling was different. I'll just go ahead and assumed that they were pulling on the same rope and not separate ones.

The art style is significantly different from Wano though. I wonder why they went with this candy palette? And these outfits are really nice! Reminds me a bit of pre-fishman where some of the crew whipped out their winter wear. But sadly it will last like, what, one episode?

While I’m in love Zoro and his feigned nonchalance re: Sanji’s disappearance in chapter 815, I kind of love the entire progression to this point.  Zoro was acting like his usual fighty self when he first arrived on Zou in chapter 805:

… which turns into denial in chapter 806 and 807:

… to “disinterest” in chapter 808 and 809:

… to stoic in chapter 810:

… to this “please continue this story, but it’s not like I care” face in chapter 811:

… and of course, to the grumpy state we find him in chapters 814 and 815:

But he’s not worried about Sanji, no siree.
