then there’s the chapter 5 gave us nothing crowd, dawg it didn’t need to reveal all the lore in one chapter, it was good and Toby has proven a billion times how good of a writer he is, trust the process

it’s like, guys have we lost our joy and whimsy? What happened to the fun memes about the funny shenanigans the Fun Gang gets up to?

what happened to the theory community trying to work together and solve the mysteries of the game instead of pulling things out of nowhere to be the correct one?

Gaster Deltarune has an entire ass Yakuza, cultists, and a pirate crew, hometown is beyond fucked

so Chapter 5 got a small update

just, Pink gets new dialogue if you get the egg and find the red image Friend

She says Kris’ hand has a cat bite (direct confirmation that Friend is a cat)

she says that cats are fickle creatures that attack things regularly

she says that some people even change their appearance and name to get away from the cats

all this is Pink (the body) talking, Pink (the ghost) is confused afterwards

I don't like the kriselle knight time loop theory or whatever it's called because it implies the weird route is inevitable/has already happened which removes responsibility from the player/soul/whatever and the whole thing about you facing the consequences of the actions you pushed for several days despite several opportunities to abort it
