handing out flyers to transmascs about estradiol cream (can be used to keep your pussy wet and healthy but without triggering periods or having any feminizing effects) and transfemmes about Cialis (works even post-orchi)
and then telling both to start prep too
new blog same sexual health advocate. since making this post i’ve switched from cialis to topical testosterone cream though.
you can take both. i do both now. testosterone cream once a week, Cialis as needed. might start taking the cialis on a regular schedule too.
Would like to add on about the estrogen for transmascs; if you get dysphoric of the feeling of your vagina getting wet, there isultra-low doses of estrogen suppositories. I take a 10 microgram suppository of estrogen twice a week. It’s enough to make it easier for me to pee, but not enough to cause me to get wet. ✌️
I know a lot of guys skip looking into estrogen suppositories bc they don’t do vaginal penetration, but even if you are a top or only do anal penetration it’s still important to consider it as an option if you’re experiencing issues. Pelvic floor dysfunction caused by vaginal atrophy can make it hard to relax the muscles in the pelvis, making it hard to pee and make it hard to relax the anus. If you find yourself having trouble peeing or trouble relaxing for anal, talk to your doctor about your options for treatments. Once I started 10 micrograms biweekly I had a lot easier time prepping for anal.
I also originally didn't like doing the estrogen cream because, at the dose I was taking, it made me feel like I was on my period all the time (it didn't trigger a period, just made me feel crampy and sick), but then I used a non-hormonal alternative vaginal moisturizer for awhile which worked really well, but I just so happened to be using a small amount of the estrogen for dryness stone my urethra and that small dose also worked for my vaginal atrophy as well with none of the side effects.
THERE IS SOMETHING OUT THERE FOR YOU!
IT’S MARCH
Uh… It’s still May…
It’s august
the long awaited sequel
FUCK i almost forgot. Happy werewolf wednesday
Friend of mine sent me these screenshots and I wanted to share my interpretation of how it works
its not that i don't get the appeal of the fanfic writer to published author pipeline bcos clearly it's a relatively easy way to make good money but from a creative standpoint i just don't get why you would want that
im talking SPECIFICALLY about the serial numbers filed off variety, to be clear. & i think perhaps we as a community need to bring back the concept of the sellout.
and ok here's the thing: i HAVE, technically, written one of these books. it was never a fanfiction bcos i realised at a very early stage that it had drifted so far from canon that it would make more sense to make it an original work. and a major issue with the first draft IS the fanfiction DNA.
NOT bcos there's anything wrong with fanfiction but bcos of things like, as the 1 person who's read it so far pointed out, 'you need to give a proper reason why these people are all friends with each other'. and then another issue is that, due to the specific fandom it began life in, there's strange artefacts in there like half the cast being cousins. oh and a bunch of minor characters who exist exclusively due to this problem:
the overhaul it would need to be an actually good book is pretty dramatic.
and i have read one of these published books (Alchemised) and yes it did have a number of the above issues, with the most notable one springing to mind being 'you never actually showed these two characters' supposedly important friendship bcos in the original you didn't have to'.

music not hitting, phone not hitting, Minecraft not hitting, food not hitting, mouth taste like blood, death comes for us all
It's so weird how reluctant G4 was to directly say that Applejack's parents were dead. Orphaned characters are so common in children's media, that is the backstory of a bunch of Disney princesses. And Applejack's parents died before the story even started so it's not like it had to be shown on screen?
I think it would have been nice if part of the lore was that the Apple family did regular upkeep on the parents' graves and showed, like, you can keep remembering and loving people who die while still moving forward and not being paralyzed by grief forever.
Or some instances of Applejack offering advice in the manner of "As my Pa always said, rest his soul . . ."
Wouldn't that be more, idk, natural? Instead of ignoring that Applejack's obviously dead parents are dead and only obliquely acknowledging it by having Applejack look at two shooting stars etc?
It's ironic considering Applejack's whole Thing is family and honesty.
I think Hasbro refused to commit, in case they wanted to suddenly bring in the Apple parents for some reason, and just stretched it out waaaaaaay too long.
(See also, Scootaloo and the question of her family. IMO, they should have just made it so she lived with her gay aunts.)
I think that would make sense for the first season of the show, but even by Season 2 they should have been like "mmkay, this is getting weird."
It seems really easy to resolve too, like have an episode about a pony's elderly pet hamster dying and Fluttershy, who works with animals and understands some are short-lived, gives this pony good advice about grieving, while Applejack gives the pony terrible advice like "Just don't think about it! :)", "Seein' Fluffy's old hamster wheel makes ya sad? Well, just put it in the shed and never look at it again :)", and "Ah ah ah, yer never gonna get over Fluffy if you keep tellin' us stories about him."
And this could culminate in Applejack admitting to herself that she never fully let herself grieve over her parents' death and sharing stories of them with Apple Bloom.
And from that episode on they could just treat her parents as Normal Dead Parents, not The Dead Parents Whose Deaths Must Not Be Acknowledged.
I mean, I do like spiders
what?
@pangur-and-grim
"dni if you engage with irredeemable media! dni to kill a mockingbird stans" ok well CLEARLY you have never read to kill a mockingbird if you think it's irredeemable media and also having a book that was published in 1960 on your dni stan list is kinda ridiculous actually
i literally do not think any of you have ever read a book published before the 2000s before in your entire life
#'Dni if you've read to kill a mockingbird' what's is this the Florida banned books list #Who r u Ron DeSantis
#can somwone pleasw provide context to whatever the fuck op is referring to
You really buried the lede by only mentioning To Kill a Mockingbird
