women are half the population

Always amusing to see a Leftist take a stand on the issues: "Do whatever you want, as long as it isn't hurting anyone! A homeless schizo is pissing on the bus? So what! A woman wants to kill her unborn baby? That's fine!"
"What if someone wants to write a book with only male characters?"
"Well, let's not go crazy..."
then you get me where I just like writing about men and made a fantasy world where the ratio between men and women at 3:1 with all the social and demographical issues born from such a terrible imbalance.
Female characters are there, and I love them, but they have social and biological pressures and restrictions on them that prevent them from performing the same roles as men. Men are ultra disposable, which causes its own issues.
And idgaf about feminism or real modern issues in my world. I am having fun writing for me.
I don't care if it never gets published. I don't write to get published. I'm writing for me.
Tiananmen Square massacre - don't forget today's the anniversary!
Communism kills! Communism oppresses! Communism steals!
There were phots of Hunter with minors on his laptop.
The "Epstein Files" are such a poison pill for any real discussion about stopping CSA. It's now so bad that we're reflexively assuming that anyone who pays to abuse children had to be associated with him, and if they weren't, it's part of some grand conspiracy instead of the obvious explanation that other people who aren't Jeffrey fucking Epstein are also trafficking children.
Also, real life is not John Wick; most criminals aren't personally connected to each other, there's no United Nations of crime overseeing all criminal activity everywhere. Powerful people who do bad things can, and will, do so completely independently of one another.
Basically I think a lot of White ppl think the antithesis to racism is "Black people are inherently Cool, White people are inherently Lame" and it's just very hard to convince them that this is also extremely racist lmfao
It's the combination of "seeing a racialized group as Fundamentally Inherently Good is still dehumanizing and you aren't seeing them as people" and "your self-flagellating White guilt is extremely annoying for the people of color around you to deal with"
"Oi vey goyim, don't smoke weed it's terrible for you- you'll feel more relaxed and you might not be as productive, which hurts the shareholders. "
"Energy drinks and nicotine? Oi vey, that's perfect! You'll work harder so the shareholders will get more profit, and you'll get sick and die sooner so we don't need to take care of you in your old age after bankrupting you with medical bills. Yes, consume away goyim!"
Plot twist, they want you doing the weed and are using reverse paychology.

Plot twist: "It's bad because liberals do it" is kindergartener-tier logic.
You're literally getting psyoped by 100+ year old reefer madness propaganda from paper companies. Working for the shareholders without even knowing it.

We're all the same bro. We're all just human. Borders...*puff* borders are a social construct bro.
"We gotta keep giving billions of tax dollars to the government so they'll send cops to go after potsmokers cause uh... my fragile white ethnostate will fall to pieces if people are allowed to smoke a plant and ask questions."
and when the cartels buy up all the pot plantations I'm sure the world will be a better place
"Bro the cartels are buying all the plantations, trust me bro. We gotta give infinite money to the Feds and Palantir to make weed illegal or the cartels win bro. Ben Shapiro said so bro."
yes because this person listens to Ben Shapiro, a traitor whose first allegiance is to Israel (hey, that's fine, he's a Jewish citizen after all; dual citizenships shouldn't be a thing), and am definitely for giving money to the feds infinitely.
Typical ancap retardation. Someone says something you don't like, therefore, must be big government. Black and white is all you know which is why you'll die as retarded as you were born.

I use the em dash so much that I'm scared of getting accused of using ai but I am also not going to think about it. I'm not changing my style just so it doesn't look like the demon babble machine
i've said this often, but i really want to reiterate it: if you're interested in what i'm talking about, i hope you guys are watching it too! watch the cartoons i upload in my reviews before reading my review! look up the cartoons i talk about and find copies online! watch the links i post for cartoon club! it's one thing to read about it, but the most worthwhile cartoon experience you're going to get is your own: actually watching it for yourself. i talk about cartoons while getting blue in the face in hopes that people will check out what i'm discussing and enjoy it for themselves and have their own epiphanies, rather than take my word as gospel. and i cannot stress how important it is to actually engage. you may think "oh, i don't need to watch if she's talking about it"--don't get complacent!! this year i would really like to foster more community and more curiosity. even and perhaps especially if you believe you're not the target audience, take 7 minutes out of your day to watch a cartoon. learn something. engage yourself. it's 7 less minutes you'll spend doomscrolling. i want you to love cartoons, not necessarily love MY love of cartoons (though i would be very flattered by that!). love cartoons with your own love by watching them yourself and deriving your own personal meaning. even the most thorough analysis from me can't do that. i consider my deep-dives additions and toppers to the real thing rather than as a replacement. be curious.
moral of the story: watch more cartoons!!!
We strategically bombed explicitly military sites and not even that many. Against a man who threatened our country openly. And basically challenged us to war. We crippled that man's personal private military and kidnapped him and venezuelan's are more excited than they've ever been in decades.
And out of touch liberals are so upset that a fascist socialist dictator has been removed from power.
"XYZ fashion trend was invented purely by men to subjugate women" is such an ice-cold take and I hate it deeply for a few reasons:
strips women of creativity and agency in our presentation, which has been a very basic human thing for as long as humans have existed, and is not always a 1:1 correlation with practicality regardless of gender
positions women as powerless victims who meekly accept every attempt to oppress us without pushing back (eg why would we have worn corset-like garments for 500 years if they were torture devices? do you really think we're that stupid?)
ignores the role of some women in oppressing other women, be that along macro axes of privilege and oppression like class, race, gender conformity, etc. or just internalized misogyny or megalomania or whatever
ignores the ways in which some fashions that seem to fall in line with societal expectations for women nowadays were actually rebellious/liberating/hated by the patriarchy/etc. in their historical context
often fundamentally positions feminine presentations as Less than or inherently Bad, when some people of other genders may also want to embrace them as a form of gender nonconformity
like. for example. YOU may not want to wear the New Look and YOU are not coming out of WWII rationing and psychologically craving bounty and ornamentation after years of scarcity- and militarism seeping into every aspect of your life. and SOME women at the time were indeed like "fuck that; I've loved working in an aircraft factory and I don't want to trade in my coveralls for a poofy skirt!"
and of course there's broader historical meaning behind fashions that should be explored from multiple angles!
but that doesn't mean it was Forced On All Women By the Patriarchy In Every Case Forever And that's the Only Explanation for It
It's so frustrating because it's extremely far from anything anyone's been putting out in history scholarship in at least the last fifty years, but everyone just Knows it must be true, and there's that constant reinforcement from movies and books ...
See, the thing about the "Where do your world's potatoes come from??" world building question is that it is assuming that because I am using European medieval tropes to build my culture, I must also be using a European landscape.
No, hun. My kingdoms are actually set in a more North American land, where corn and potatoes have a place at the table. I'm mixing and matching culture settings. Because it's fantasy, it's *my* fantasy, and I want things to work like that.
How 'bout dem apples.
we really need to push back on this increasingly common idea that an adult and a child can never have anything in common and should never be interacting outside of very specific, strictly monitored circumstances. growing up my mom would take us to the park and she would also play with the other random kids who were there, I don't think you can do this anymore. I spent most of my 8th grade lunches hanging out alone with my english teacher talking about books and life and culture, I don't think this would be allowed anymore. the potential for someone to exploit a child and do harm will always be there, but I think acting like children can never benefit from a friendship with an adult really just harms children in the long run. as a child/teen who dealt with severe mental illness, to this day I still remember the impact that kind adults had on me growing up.
