So these are different stages of the kitchen.  I forgot to mention earlier that the pear, or its pieces, is bamboo.  They are attached with hot glue. Other materials such as wire mesh and regular wire are used.   

Elements that are in the final include:

   ~counter with a peninsula (bamboo)

   ~ overhead cabinets (bamboo with bamboo accents)

   ~ a separate refrigerator with (sort of) working hinges and a shelf inside (bamboo, wire)

   ~ two chairs (bamboo, paper towel to glue it down on)

   ~ wall art (bamboo, metal mesh)

    ~ rug (metal mesh)

   ~ oven (bamboo, piece of drill bit I broke while working that I wanted to include in memorial)

   ~ sink with faucet (drilled hole, wire faucet)

   ~ other little doodads- stove top (metal mesh), frying pan (wire), hook for frying pan (wire), plates (bamboo with center sanded/drilled out), and colander (metal mesh, hot glue stand).

So these are some of the different stages of destruction of the tray.  These are all from before the kitchen idea came to be (except the last one, I believe).
