Hey guys just a PSA since apparently I have gathered an odd amount of fame (Not really, but I’ve gotten a lot of anons to the point my submissions are swamped) since I told you guys about the milestone I reached.

This is a ZIAM AND LARRY SAFE BLOG. I love OT4 AND OT5. And I’m Zquad.

I love all the boys, all as individuals. You’ll never catch me hating on them.

My submissions are always open for theories and questions regarding anything and my DMs are always open for casual conversation as well.

And if you don’t like my blog then just... unfollow? Or leave? I’ve never seen the point of sending hate. Either I just never given a shit enough because I have better things to worry about or I just... never cared. Point blank.

Like I’ve never went out of way to purposely search something up just to piss myself off? My personal life is hectic as it is. This place is more of a detox. So why would I want to ruin it for myself is beyond me.

It’s been such a long time.

Things just didn’t really feel the same like they did ever since Liam passed away. Bad enough I wasn’t as active beforehand but would still give little updates here and there when I would come across it.

I was able to get tickets for Zayn’s show yesterday for Phoenix. I’m really excited to finally see him up close! Row 2 babbyyyyyy.

Anyways, I got some notifications today from someone liking my old posts. (If you see this, you know who you are haha) and I decided to come on here and went scrolling through some of my old stuff.

I feel so nostalgic. And the crazy part? I never thought I’d have this kind of grief for someone I didn’t personally know. Liam comes to my mind here and there at the most random times and I get a little sad again. Call me delusional all you want. But this boy and ALL the boys really shaped me in my formative teenage years. And I feel like ever since that tragic day happened, I felt like a part of my childhood kinda died too. Everything suddenly felt so real.

I’m 25 now, frontal cortex forming and all that good stuff ya know— and it’s given me a lot time to reflect.

If anyone here is still active… what are you guys up to?

Im trying to decide if I should use this account again and mainly become a Zayn update account.

And of course, I’ll never forget about our little Lima bean.

Like I said before. If there’s a Heaven, I know he’s gotta be there.

I feel like enough time has passed for me to really talk about Liam.

Liam Payne.

God, I didn’t even know him but I loved him tremendously.

Words can’t begin to describe how much that beautiful man meant to me. He got me through so much in life and the sad part is that he’s never going to know that. I’ll never have the possibility of running into him ever in my life and telling him just how much I loved and appreciated him. There’s going to come a time where I’ll grow older than him, and that absolutely saddens me. Almost 7 months later and I still feel absolutely heartbroken.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think a “celebrity’s” death would affect me the way his passing did. I listened to nothing but his music and one directions music for a solid 3 months after he was gone. And to this day, walking in the wind specifically hits different.

Liam was too good for this world. I always felt that he was misunderstood and constantly overlooked in comparison to the other boys. I remember all those moments where he spoke so loudly of his mental health but no one fucking listened. Everyone let him down. But I know I never once swayed away from the person I thought he was. I knew how it felt to constantly be fighting the demons in your head and that’s why I always empathized with him. I hope Liam knows how loved he truly was and continues to be.

We love you, Liam.

there’s a difference between holding someone accountable and finding petty things to bully someone for. y’all were bullies in its truest form and y’all did this to him. idc if i get hate for saying this but it’s true.

people misunderstand what ‘gifted kid’ actually means but it’s ok it’s fine it’s cool it’s good

it’s not about actually being gifted, it’s about an initial higher scoring on standardized testing that means little to nothing or being good at learning in the way elementary and middle school wants you to, so you get marked as ‘advanced’. in reality, maybe you had faster development in certain areas, but the issue with being a gifted kid isn’t that “everyone told me I was so cool and special for reading and then I actually wasn’t :(” it’s “I wasn’t properly taught to handle things not coming easily to me, but the adults around me were counting on me not being a ‘difficult’ child in school.”

people who use it as some weird bragging method or interpret it that way are ignoring the way a lot of school systems force certain roles on students to simplify the learning process. If your kid doesn’t need to take notes to understand a science concept bc they get it naturally, well that’s good, but now you’re not teaching them how to take notes and they’re not learning that important soft skill. but because ‘gifted’ kids are easy and don’t show that they’re falling behind in learning in other categories that are harder to quantify, they eventually fall behind after that catches up to them. It’s about the failures of a one size fits all school system trying to compensate in the worst way possible.

And also the thing where ‘gifted’ kids are super likely to also be neuroatypical, which they don’t get screened for because they appear to be doing well in school. Or “You can’t be ADHD/autistic/etc, because you’re doing so well in school!”. Or being shamed for developing mental health issues/generally not being able to keep up with school work later, because you USED TO BE able to do it just fine.

Or the assumption that just because you can read well or you like math class, you’re somehow more EMOTIONALLY mature than your little kid brain is actually capable of being.

Or gifted kids whose parents and teachers put immense pressure on them to Do Great Things and Save The World and you’re like. “I’m 10 and I have no idea how to do that, but everyone is saying that’s my job?”.

This is the best “gifted kid” post out there. I never took notes until college because I didn’t have to, snd when it got challenging I had to literally teach myself note taking at age 18. It also fucks with your perception of asking for help - you’re advanced, you’re competent, you should be able to understand every topic easily. Asking for help/going to office hours/asking for a tutor feels like failing when you were praised in your early years for not needing to do that.
