'Kay so update of my Captive Prince collection ! I received the Polish version not long ago to complete it further, I am so happy! I think that next month I will place the order to finally have the three volumes of the English version, with the new cover! But I'm soooo proud of my actual collection <33

I made the mistake with this one to change the lighting half way through the painting which always messes with the values and colors, but oh well. Sometimes a painting doesn't go the way you want to and then you got to let it go. But I still like the overall comp and all that, so you get to see it, haha. Maybe I manage to be a bit clearer in terms of values with that extra painting that I have planned for this scene, because this scene is just too good to only get one.

An overview of my captive prince collection (with dark rise 🤣), my biggest pride is to have the Japanese edition box set! 🤗 I'm thinking of getting the English version of the trilogy too!

Today I received the book The summer palace, I'm really happy to have it in an illustrated version. However, I'm still disappointed that it's only in English. I speak French, and until today there hasn't been a complete French translation of this book published.. I get by in English, but to read a complete book in English is going to be tough :(( In any case, that's one more book in my collection than Prince Captif! 🥰
