Why were the Vulcan elders in ST2009 wearing just a plain dress for the woman and some sad pajamas-like pants for the dudes? Where are the robes? The dramatic flair? The weight of tradition?
It wouldn’t be Logical for them to dress dramatically. (Even if they did in the original series…)
Has anyone read the Wheel of Time books and, as someone who has had Feelings about Rand al’Thor’s precious baby face in the TV show, would it be a good idea to pick up the books? (Look, he is hitting my “Padawan Baby Anakin Skywalker Era Face” feelings and I am consumed by those, okay.)

I like their dynamic (and have reblogged lovely art of them!), but the pairing doesn't interest me enough to become one of my faves. Guess that's the case because I never shipped them when I watched the show as kid? Didn't ship anyone from A:tLA, really. Lol
The ship has my favorite tropes: Le drama, enemies to lovers, slow burn, a Byronic character, and a complex female character. By this logic, I should be a Zutara shipper! Dunno why I'm not.
Oh well, it's still a good ship. c:

ok so SU wasnt perfect :) but it was a step :) it had ok lgbt representation :) but we've moved on to better shows now :) like i dont get why they redeemed the diamonds when i dont identify with them?? obviously media should only redeem relatable characters and not challenge the audience to think about how they feel about people they hate :/ but hey it was trying :) i dont understand why it leaves things open-ended instead of a complete happy ending where they give us the psa i crave about not needing to forgive anyone :) sad that so many cartoons these days dont dare to kill villains yknow :) but lgbt! :) i heard all these rumors that every storyboarder hated it so lol drama :) and also CN was 100% always intentionally sabotaging it so double drama :) but it wasnt as bad as some people say :) lgbt rep :) they tried :) they just werent smart enough to understand that only zuko sadboys get redeemed :) but also lgbt :)
Like I said, maybe most people don’t want that and are too dumb and used to the tropes everyone’s already seen to really think outside the box, and they turn on it because it’s not what they’re used to…
