here's where to find it on windows 10
Ugh, it was in mine. It's off now.
IT GETS WORSE
I had to turn this off, but it's something that allows Windows and anyone using your device to generate text/images.
LOBOTOMIZE YOUR MACHINES
AI is a freacking plague, I share this for any windows user.
my atla hot take is that a lot of iroh's plotlines in book 3 felt like fan fiction in that why is this old man involved in everything?? he's in the white lotus and basically leads the attack to take back ba sing se, he knows about roku and sozin and provides zuko with that history, he saved the last dragons… like ok… if he knew and did all this why did he carry on with colonising the earth kingdom in a brutal campaign. I mean he clearly delighted in his nation's ideals. idk I think it would feel less… strange if the show wasn't so dead set on presenting him as this always wise old man who empathises with everyone and is silly because his son died, thus he can never be in the wrong (it does also piss me off that iroh gets more promo than fucking suki 😭)
yeah, i think it’s pretty clear that as the show continued, the writers grew more and more fond of iroh until he essentially became like a pet to them, rather than a fully-realized character with complex morality. maybe they feel like he’s owed a (narrative/thematic) prize for putting up with zuko’s shit for those first two seasons, and thus they can reveal that he knows everything about everything and never did nothing to nobody, as a treat. even if it actually diminishes his character, and the fact that he has so much to be ashamed of from his past being his driving, motivating force to abandon everything in his life to rescue zuko the way he couldn’t lu ten. but the thing about iroh is that he’s just so charming that it’s really easy to fall into the trap of “well of course he’s ontologically good and pure of soul, look at what a sweet little old man he is.” but ideally, that tension is what makes his character interesting, rather than being presented as such a defining feature of his characterization that it eclipses all complexity. iroh is a very multi-faceted character, and that’s what makes him a good character in the first place. also, it certainly doesn’t help that his original voice actor died during production, making it a lot more difficult to write dialogue for him in book 3. in fact, i wonder how much of iroh’s whitewashing in the final season is actually a product of wanting to honor mako’s legacy through his beloved character… which is very bittersweet if true, but also not a justification for framing a recently retired warlord as the sweetest, softest, cuddliest teddybear in all the land, and anyone who dares to take umbrage with his violent colonial project has probably just never experienced the true joy of really good tea… -_-
I truly sacrificed to create this ridiculous mug. biting clay is a bad sensory experience 😔 who would have guessed
I’m tempted not to glaze the bite marks so it looks like it was bitten through the glaze lmao
I showed this to my husband and he said he wants four mugs like this in various states of eaten, so he can swap when no one’s looking and make it look like he’s actually eating it.
Yesterday my little brother told me something very sweet and touching, that when he was a kid and had nightmares about monsters chasing him or whatever he would be able to end the nightmare by finding me in the dream and I would protect him by fighting off the zombies, or carrying him away. This is adorable, and makes me feel like the greatest older sibling in the world, but the hilarious thing is that when I was a kid I had nightmares of needing to save him from zombies and such. so many dreams where he was in trouble and I needed to save him. Like my nightmares began where his ended. Low key I think he mastered the ability to psychically transfer his nightmare to me as a child and I'm kind of annoyed with him.
Here's a source for the analysis, but it probably is not the source.
Workers’ share of US economic output has fallen to its lowest level since the government began keeping records in 1947, according to data th
Some points of interest:
Corporate profits are soaring. After taxes, they now take 12.3 percent of national output, far above their postwar average of 7.3 percent.
Adjusted for inflation, hourly wages have risen 3 percent since the end of 2019, Ip noted. Corporate profits over the same period have risen 50 percent.
The Economic Policy Institute calculates that since 1979 the productivity of American workers has grown 90 percent while the pay of the typical worker has grown 33 percent. Had wages tracked output, the average worker would earn $16.40 more an hour today.
The profits are concentrated among the largest corporations. Earnings at the 500 biggest US firms rose 28 percent in the first quarter from a year earlier, the fastest pace since 2021, and their profit margins reached 14.8 percent. The seven technology giants known as the “Magnificent 7”—Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Tesla—grew their profits 63 percent.
In the United States, the richest 1 percent of households hold 31.7 percent of all wealth. The bottom half hold barely 2.5 percent.

I think the biphobic misconception that bisexual women only date men and bisexual men only date men may have a correlation to the fact that there is always a man freaky and horny in your DMs no matter what. It isn’t that bisexual women are secretly straight or that bisexual men are secretly gay, it’s that men are out there behaving like starving dogs and you feel so bad you end up feeding one, you know? Anyway, this coffee is a medium and I ordered a large. It’s okay, it’s busy in here, I get it.
Remember in 2010 when Taio Cruz said "I throw my hands up in the air sometimes"? I appreciated his restraint. You can't just throw your hands up in the air whenever. There's a time and a place, and that time was 2010, and the place was the club.
at least now we know why he has yet to return when Britain is in peril
We need a flick where King Arthur wakes in modern Jamaica and is very confused.
I think that would be so much funny. He wakes up on a remote beach in Jamaica and he only speaks/understands Brythonic and Medieval Latin. Locals assume he was a tourist who fell from a cruise ship or received a head injury and floated away from a resort. The authorities cannot match his description to any missing persons reports and his fingerprints and DNA produce no hits on INTERPOL. They suspect he may be Welsh or French because the language he speaks resembles Welsh or Breton but France and the UK both state he is not a citizen of their country. Stateless and deeply confused, he is taken in by the community near the beach where he was found, being cared for by a number of local families and doing odd jobs. He slowly learns English and adjusts to the contemporary world, uncertain if his belief that he is the legendary King Arthur was formed by whatever traumatic event caused him to end up Jamaica or if he is actually King Arthur and Prydain is in eminent peril. Mysterious letters from Morgan begin to reaffirm his belief he is King Arthur. He must choose between staying in Jamaica and continuing the happy life he has made for himself or finding a way to get back to Britain without any documentation.
Suddenly struck with a need to explain to you how boat pronouns work (I work in the marine industry).
When you're talking about the design of the boat, you say "it".
When the boat is still being built, your say "it".
When the boat is nearing completion, you can say "it" or "she".
When the boat is floating in the water you probably say "she", unless there is still a lot of work to be done (e.g. no engine yet) then you say "it".
When the boat is officially launched and operating, you say "she". If you continue to say "it" at this point you are not incorrect but suspiciously untraditional. You are not playing the game.
If you are referring to a boat you don't really know anything about you may say "it" ("there's a big boat, it's coming this way"). But if you know its name, it's probably "she" ("there's the Waverley, she's on her way to Greenock").
If you are talking about boats in general, you say "it" ("when a boat is hit by a wave it heels over")
If you speak about a boat in complimentary terms, it's "she" ("she's a grand boat"). If you are being disparaging it may be it, but not necessarily ("it's as ugly as sin", "she's a grotty old tub").
If she has a boy's name, she's still she. "Boy James", "King Edward", "Sir David Attenborough"? The pronoun is she.
If it's a dumb barge (no engine), you say it. But if it's a rowing boat (no engine), you say she.
I hope this has cleared things up so that you may not be in danger of misgendering floating objects.

the countries they're calling the racist hellholes vs the actual racist hellholes
so venezuela has become a usamerican colony. like that happened and everything carried on like normal
like i know venezuela is going through a huge humanitarian crisis right now and their political regime is low in the list of priorities when tallinmg about it obviously it's just it shocked me to read trump congratulating his secretary of energy on how well he's running what used to be a sovereign country until a few months back you know
actually i’m putting this on main blog too people will legitimately be like “omg i’m SOOO glad they made the lesbian character in [tv show] the pretty one instead of some ugly disgusting hairy butch dyke! this is destroying the negative stereotype that all lesbians are ugly disgusting monsters 🤩 #woke #feminism #lesbian #pretty” and think they deserve to live
