NYT is currently sending an armada of reporters to appalachia to get hot takes from Trump voters who are sticking with him.
As a liberal in Appalachia, I’ll say this based on living here: They do not care. They do not care that he has possible ties with Russia, they do not care that he’s taking away the very benefits they depend on, they do not care that he possibly committed treason, and they do not care that he sold America to private companies’ board members so he can make a quick buck. All they care about is that their team won and the other team lost.
