Heroes || Hiro & Carmen
talesofhiro:
He was left waiting for quite a while, and for a moment, he wondered if he should just leave. Perhaps… she wasn’t there? He took out his phone and scrolled through his contacts– there weren’t much for him to take long, but what he did notice was that her name was not there. In the end… he never worked up the nerve to ask for her number despite already being friends.
Putting his phone back in his pockets, he lets out a sigh, staring once more at the door and he was caught in his usual routine of bowing down in greeting (and in apology), Hiro felt relieved he didn’t go. Even more so when she said it wasn’t a bother to be there. Patience, Hiro. Thank the Goddess for patience!
When he does look up, he saw Carmen’s figure being hugged by a towel. Just a towel. His cheeks turned bright red and he immediately went inside, closed the door behind, and placed his overcoat on the barely clothed Carmen.
“P-please never answer your door like this, Cami!” Hiro barely managed to say, even slipping and using an old nickname of hers. She really must be careful with herself. She’s 22 years old living on her own! A beautiful one! What would her brother say if he were to know his little sister merrily answered doors in such a skimpy attire…
“I know you said this was not a bad time, but are you sure?” He leaves his overcoat for her to use and simply looks away, the floor suddenly the center of his attention. “You are changing and all… I can come back at a much more appropriate time.” Preferably when she is well clothed– and was she ironing her hair? The brief time his eyes were on hers, he noticed how one part was straightened.
Carmen was a little too confused when Hiro suddenly started rushing inside and acting all funny-- what did he mean ‘like this’? Was she that ugly right now? Jeez, of all the people to have pointed that out, it just had to be the nicest guy around. That just meant it was the plain truth-- something no one can ever deny. She was absolutely not fit to be--
Changing?
Looking down, Carmen’s face turned fifty shades of red as she realized she only had a towel on. Even if Hiro was the one to point it out and even offer a coat and look away, Carmen slapped him and turned away, incredibly embarrassed. “PERVERT!!”
Of course he’d already seen her in a bikini-- and technically, she was more clothed now. Still there was a certain level of intimacy reserved for spectacles like that and Hiro, well, HE’S HIRO! Definitely not someone she’d want to see her almost naked, unless she was in an operating room maybe...
Gah!!!
She ran back to her room, locking the door shut so she can change in peace. Clothes...clothes...where are her clothes-- ah, right. She left the costume in the living room.
“....pssst, Hiro....” She opens the door mildly and calls for her perverted guest, not wanting to go out and fetch it herself. “Rule no. 1, this never happened. Rule no. 2, get rid of that stupid nickname... And lastly, I’ll forgive you if you quietly bring the pink dress at the living room couch over.”
