My husband and I are watching The Clone Wars for the first time — despite having been Star Wars fans our entire lives, so we’re late to the game. Every time we watch an episode, I think, “oh they’re gonna take down Palpatine this time! They’re gonna ruin his plans!” I even sometimes say it to my husband!

And he just looks at me like I’m dumb and says “Revenge of the Sith” and then I’m sad.
