 “That’s a great idea, Miss Garnet!” his older eyes crinkled with another evident smile.
“Someone around here is bound to know about this Conrad Panini,” he said, naively repeating the phrase in a more ridiculous manner. Though the gunner was indeed intelligent, he was, put simply, rather silly without meaning to be.
“Shall we move onward?” he asked, bending his arm for her to latch onto in a friendly manner.
She lifted her hand to her lips and giggled as he spoke. She knew he had to be playing with her, so she decided to indulge him. She gently and slowly  repeated. “Con-de Pe-ti!”  As he held out his arm she merely stared at him. He was quite the gentleman, something she has not seen in quite sometime.Â
"We shall." She wrapped her arm around his slightly, feeling a bit timid from the action. She lifted her eyes to meet his and smiled.
"You lead."
He led Garnet through the double doors, not forgetting to hold one open for the young princess, a habit he had long ago adopted. What he had failed to remember, however, was his original intention of visiting the city. Wasn't there something important to do?
The last bit of that thought faded away as they looked towards the open sky. With a  skip in his step and a scatterbrained mission to nowhere, the raven-haired man looked at his new companion, "Er, where exactly do we start?"
