I have a post from 2 1/2 years ago with OVER 100 NOTES FEAR ME
I remember in like middle school I had this friend who thought all lions were male and all tigers were female and I thought she was the stupidest shit ever, but I wouldn't tell her that to her face. I just kept telling her she was wrong and eventually gave up because she wouldn't believe me.
Me singing the chorus to the song the quote on the painting came from, Before the Morning by Josh Wilson. I totally stumbled a little at the end but whatever. I hope you like my voice :)
A painting I did. Also I suck at writing in straight lines apparently.

Rough touch (for Link because why not?)
14: my muse pushes yours to her knees.
Link pushed down roughly on Sarina’s shoulders until her knees hit the floor, then gave an additional shove on her shoulders to put her down flat on her stomach, then laid down beside her, one arm holding her down across her back, the other covering her mouth.
“Get down and be quiet,” he hissed.
His ear tips dropped a fraction and burned slightly red at her tone, but, with a clenched jaw, he silenced, his eyes following her around the room. His nostrils flared a little. Clear signs he was frustrated.
Sarina didn’t like that he looked frustrated. She was just trying to help, really! Her eyes burned with tears as she stumbled over to him with a bowl of water and a few rags, unable to meet his gaze. She knelt next to him, dipping a cloth in the water and wringing it out before tending to his wounds with all the gentleness she possessed.
@legendofthetimeywimeydome
“Just…. Just…. Wait,” he muttered, dragging himself away from the Lizalfo and trying to tug off his clothes, but stifled a whimper of pain, unable to complete the task.
Her heart broke all over again and tears spilled down her cheeks. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. “I am so, so sorry.” She watched him carefully as she began attempting to peel away his clothes. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“It… Is fine,” he rasped, trying to shift to help her undress him. “It is simply… Easier to help me… Without these in the way…”
“No, it’s not,” she whispered, successfully managing to slip off his tunic and grimacing at what lay beneath. “Oh my goddesses…” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
There were several broad stab wounds from the lizalfo’s wide bladed sword littering Link’s torso. There was one deep, jagged cut where his shoulder met his neck, cutting down across his collarbone and seeming to just miss an artery.
On his lower body, most of the cuts were superficial. His left knee, however, was in worse shape than any other part of him. It had been kicked on the kneecap, hard… The kneecap appeared to be crushed in, and his entire knee was swollen and covered with blood.
Her tears slipped out in full force, sobs wracking her body as she continued to at least clean his wounds. She didn’t know if they had enough herbs to make the amount of salve he needed, and that terrified her. Without it, he would continue to be in immense pain, and he could die from that. She didn’t want him to die; he meant too much to her. They had been together for too long for her to just easily give him up. He was her world; she couldn’t lose that. “I-I’ll go make some salve,” she said quietly, shakily standing up. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
Link didn’t respond. His eyes had closed. His breathing was shallow, and each breath shuddering. He no longer followed or responded to her movements.
At that moment, there came a knock at the door.
That terrified her more than anything. While she was hurriedly fixing a salve, the knock at the door made her groan. She contemplated not answering, but decided it would be better to answer and not worry who was there waiting. With a sigh, she hurried to the door, still trying to grind the herbs into a powder for the salve. “Yes?” She asked as she opened the door. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
It was Colin. The moment the door opened, he raised his arm to block his nose. “Is everything okay?” He asked, taking in the fear on her face and the smell of blood. “I heard some commotion while I was passing by.”
“No, everything’s not okay,” she whispered, tearing up once more but trying to keep the tears from falling. “Link’s badly hurt and I don’t have enough herbs for the salve I need. Can you go get me some? And bring someone to help me take care of him. Please.” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
Colin stepped across the threshold. “Come on. Let’s get him back to my house… Beth is the best doctor in Ordon, and I don’t think we can get him to castle town in this state.” He paused when he saw the Lizalfo. “Best to deal with that later. I’ll come back and get rid of it once he’s in safe hands.” He walked over to Link and picked him up with his one arm by linking it underneath both of Link’s. He then began walking to the door. Link’s feet dragged on the floor and his head lay against his chest.
Sarina nodded and wiped her tears away, darting into the kitchen to get the rest of the salve ingredients. If nothing else, she could make some of the salve so Beth could start applying it while she made more. “Thank you, Colin. You’re a goddess-send.” She followed behind him, dread settling in the pit of her stomach. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
"Dunno about that," Colin replied as he walked out the door and made his way carefully down to ground level. Link still didn't move, and his breathing was shallower than ever.
"Have you ever considered piracy?" (For Link, hello friend!)
Link opened his mouth, then closed it again, surprised by the question. “No,” he replied finally. “I used to be a thief. I will not go back to that life.”((Hello!!))
“Got your chocolate… And cookies,” he stated haltingly, his voice weak and sounding slightly choked. He tried to stand, only to get one foot on the floor before he collapsed entirely. “Sorry… About the carpet…” He managed to say.
@legendofthetimeywimeydome
Sarina sat up and sighed. She was somewhat used to this at this point. “I told you not to do anything stupid,” she scolded gently. “I can always weave a new carpet; don’t worry about it.” She stood and stretched, wincing slightly. “What do you need me to do? You look like crap.”
“Thanks,” he muttered, dragging himself back to his hands and knees. “Did not do anything stupid… Ran into a group.” He finally got to his feet, leaning heavily on the counter. “Got surrounded…” He let out a slight chuckle. “I won…”
She sighed and smiled wryly, moving to hug him gently. “That was absolutely stupid,” she mumbled. “Don’t lie to me.” She kept her hands at his waist. “What do you need?”
He gave a slight smirk. “I was on patrol… I had to stop them. It’s my job.” He ran his hand over her hair. “I don’t need anything. I’m just a little bruised. Maybe a cut here and there.”
She closed her eyes and let out a sigh. “If you say so. You’re acting like it’s way worse than bruising and the occasional cut.” She shrugged. “I’ll find out later if you’re lying or not.”
He huffed a little. “It is nothing. No need to worry.” He then let his slight smirk cross his face. “You worry about me too much.”
“Whatever I have to do to keep you alive,” she shrugged, opening an eye to look up at him. “It’s not like you mind, anyways.” She nuzzled back into his chest happily. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“Pff,” he huffed good naturedly as he wrapped his arms around her. “Who says I don’t care?”
Sarina giggled and rolled her eyes. “This hug says you don’t care. If it actually bothered you, you would be glaring at me or something.” She hummed softly and closed her eyes contently. “Plus, you managed to get both of the things I asked for, even if I told you to only get one, so I can’t be mad.”
@legendofthetimeywimeydome
“Maybe… Maybe you simply do not understand my body language, and this is an embrace of consolation,” he tried. “And how could I not? It is not as though I am short on funds… Or castle town, short on sweets.”
“Link,” she snorted lowly. “Don’t give me that crap. I know you.” She nuzzled into his chest and closed her eyes, relaxing against him. “Thank you,” she said quietly. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
He rested his chin on top of her head. “Yes… Perhaps you do,” he smiled softly, holding her close in his arms.
Warmth crept into her cheeks before slowly sliding down her body, shivers doing down her spine. She felt much better now that he was back; he was like her security blanket. It also helped that he was very warm and very attractive, but she wouldn’t tell him that for fear of his ego growing.
@legendofthetimeywimeydome
He kissed her head and moved away towards the kitchen. “Have you eaten anything while I was gone?”
She shook her head, trailing after him, only to stop as a sharp pain stabbed through her lower abdomen. She couldn’t stop the whimper and grimace with which she responded. “No… No energy to do anything.” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“Baby,” the word passed his lips in response to her whimper before he could stop it, as he moved to her side and scooped her into his arms. “You should rest. I will make you breakfast.” He walked over to the couch and set her down on it, then kissed her lips tenderly.
“Okay,” she said quietly, nuzzling at his chest for the brief moment he held her. Once he had laid her on the couch, she curled into a ball, in too much pain to even consider kissing him back. “Thank you.” She closed her eyes and let out a low whine of pain as another cramp rippled through her. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
Link retreated back to the kitchen, and before long, delicious scents of cooking food began wafting through the house. After about fifteen minutes, he returned to her side with a plate of scrambled eggs, dotted with herbs and spices, coupled with bacon seasoned and cooked to perfection, fresh fruit, and a glass of juice.
“I mixed an herb into the eggs that should help with the pain,” he told her softly, setting the food down on a table near the couch.
She lifted her head, licking her lips happily as she forced herself to sit up. “Thank you,” she said softly, taking the plate and beginning to eat, making contented noises. “I love it when you cook. You always make everything taste good.” She paused in her eating to sip at the juice he had brought her. “I already feel so much better. Thank you.” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
He ran his hand through her hair. “I am glad.” He smiled softly and returned to the kitchen to make some food for himself, then returned shortly after with a plate of his own and sat beside her to eat.
When he returned, her mouth was full of berries, lips stained red from the juice. She giggled and licked her fingers clean, leaning on his arm as he sat beside her. Though they typically weren’t a very affectionate-showing couple, when she had her monthly bleeding she could get very handsy and crave physical touch. “How about I make your favorite meal for supper tonight in exchange for you making breakfast?” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“No,” he replied. “I will do all the cooking until you’re well again.” He chuckled softly at her. “Your hands are all stained red.”
“You make it sound like I’m sick,” she pouted, the red staining her lips making them more pronounced. “I’ll be well enough to cook supper, you know. The herbs will help.” She wiggled her fingers at him. “It would be a shame if I wiped them on your tunic…”
He jumped up off the couch the moment her fingers got close. “Not funny,” he snapped. “This tunic is sacred. It was worn by my father and every hero before him. It is not to be used as a napkin.”
She sighed and pulled away just before he jumped up, pouting unhappily. “Yeah, yeah, I get it. Sacred tunic, not a napkin. Got it.” She stuck a few more berries in her mouth sullenly. She was probably more upset than she should be, but she would just blame it on the bleeding. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
He paused, closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "I am sorry. This is among my most valued possessions. I am rather protective of it."
Well, hello (for Link because I can't resist having multiple threads with them)
“Morning,” Link grunted as he came in the door from patrol, then flopping on his back across her lap and looking up at her with drowsy, bright emerald eyes. “’M tired,” he complained.
She looked up from her book and smiled wryly, smoothing out his hair with her fingers. “I can see that. Not sleep well? Or was patrol that exhausting?” She set her book aside to stare back at him, dark eyes twinkling with mirth. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“What is sleep?” He asked her, with a very well-faked curious light in his eyes.
She rolled her eyes and snorted, ruffling his hair. “Sleep is that thing that grown-ups do to hide from their responsibilities,” she replied nasally, eyes squinted. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“I have no understanding of the concept,” he snorted, shaking his head briskly and letting out a whining growl of mock-irritation when she ruffled his hair.
She snickered. “Clearly.” Her features softened. “You going to be okay?” She asked softly, moving to simply petting his hair. “Do you need to nap?” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“What does it mean to nap?” He asked, with a slight sideways smirk. “Is it this sleep thing you keep talking about?”
“Yes, it is,” she huffed playfully. “You should try it once in a while. After all, you need to shirk responsibility every once in a while, too.” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
He huffed, too. “I do not have time to shirk responsibility. I have too much of it.”
She let out a sigh, her petting ceasing. “I know,” she said quietly, “but I hate that you’re tired all the time. You never rest. You’re going to get sick.” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
He shook his head. “I will not get sick. As a Hylian, my body is far more efficient and needs less rest, and also has a stronger immune system. I will be fine.”
She huffed, resuming her petting of him once more. “If you say so. I still think you should take a nap, or rest, or do something besides work all the time.” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“I am not working right now,” he replied, looking up at her with big green eyes.
She rolled her eyes. “You know what I mean, Link. I wasn’t being literal.” @legendofthetimeywimeydome
“Do I?” He asked, looking sincerely confused.
She groaned and let her head drop to his chest, hunched over awkwardly. “Yes, you do, but you’re going to pretend you don’t to annoy me.”
A small, awkward smile came over his lips. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Yes you do, Link. It’s really not funny to rile me up like this.” She huffed unhappily. @legendofthetimeywimeydome
He gave her sweet eyes with a soft smile. "You know I'm just teasing you."
