Spare me some time and an ear for a rambling?

So Dispatch has ended recently, and I got an idea I just thought of in the shower. I'm now going to present this idea through a base rundown, which is a handful. Spoilers to major, major things in the game, so come to this when you aren't bothered/know everything in season 1 like the back of your hand.

In the end of episode 3, Robert has to pick between Sonar and Coupe being fired, but before anything can happen, Punch up argues why Coupe should stay, with Malevola following suit on defending her friend. In a heated argument, and with Robert getting stressed out, he fires both the half-demon and small strongman out of panic. This is unfortunately enough to get them both sacked, and the z-team is down by two members.

Though chapters 4 and 5 would stay the same, albeit the team now hating Robert alot, Sonar and Coupe having a moment of what could’ve been with hopes that their friends will be okay (resulting in a synergy between the two), waterboy and Phenomaman trying to adjust being on the team (also synergizing because they feel like outcasts), and the game just taking a more serious tone. Chapter 6 really shakes things up as the focus goes to Malevola and Punch Up returning to crime, doing a little bit of shenaniganing as Chase crosses them by. Teleporting to where Chase went off to, they see him going to save Invisigal from Shroud’s base, and Shroud spots the two. Initiate cliffhanger and resume the rest of part 6 in Robert’s POV.

The storylines collide in #7, where Punch Up finds Robert in Sardines, and punches his nuts, and Malevola ties the latter up so the bitty brute can continue kicking his butt. Jump to a few moments later in chapter 8, as they both have split to destroy the area, merging together when weakened and clashing on as their “last resort.” After Robert suits up as Mechaman, the red ring members rebound and attempt to tackle him in the part where a betrayed sonar/coupe would bash him. They only stop when their old friends, who were the ones they defended individually back at episode 3, run into them; getting a little bit of sense, they flee, but not before offering the fliers to join them with Shroud (turned down since the bat and assassin think it would be a horrible idea and know better). The fleeing is actually breaking into the building to give their boss a way to Beef. In the end of the game, regardless of if you defeated them during the fight to protect the city or not, both of them will flee arrest. There are hopes they’ll be let in if all is forgiven, but it’ll take a while.

Yeah I just made this shit up because Sonar’s/Coupe’s Shroud upgrades intrigued me. I can’t draw right now, as I only brainstormed this au and don’t plan to add on to it. You’re welcome to do whatever with the concept, and maybe pull your own spin, because my time has come for now. I’m going to continue scrolling this place for the memes, expect another and different topic posted in 1-2 years. Thanks for coming to the Ted Talk.
