HAPPY AROACE PRIDE WEEK GUYS!!!! In light of this week here are some Alastor head canons

• Has chronic humming disease. If he's not talking he's humming

A well-steeped Alastor headcanon because why not profit off my 4 year obsession:

○ Good and evil aren't necessarily factors in Alastor's decision-making. At least, not the standard definitions. His narcissism has evolved into something of a God complex, and he considers himself more than worthy to judge the actions of others on his own sliding scale of sin. He targets those he deems to be in the wrong, usually based more upon his own feelings than actual facts.

As a result, his actions can blur the lines between what's traditionally 'good' or traditionally 'bad', leaving many with an uneasy feeling around him, as his reactions are hard to predict and can be extraordinarily violent if he decides somebody deserves to be dead. He can also overlook utter depravity or cruelty if it doesn't register as a problem to him, personally.

In his own mind, Alastor sees himself as something of a vigilante hero, helping to rid the world (and now Hell) of those who aren't worthy of being alive. As a human, his killings would have all inevitably circled back to some kind of perceived slight against Alastor... or Alastor's morals of the moment.

I have been here, multiple times!  By referring to the order as a “Little Rosa”, you don’t have to make as big a deal out of the fact that you’re seeking help.

And believe it or not, it gets better. Rosa’s also gives out sweatshirts to the homeless (or sells them to the general public) that has information on local soup kitchens and even computer training in the area, on an insert sewn inside the sweatshirt.

Didn’t PPG have a villain that was specifically meant to mock feminists as man haters that use feminism to harm others?

They did and if you watch the whole episode you see the PPG get tricked into letting the villain committ crime out of female solidarity.

Then several women step in to talk to the PPG about how the villain is using feminism as a scapegoat to get away with toxic and criminal behavior. And how what the villain is doing isnt actually feminist at all.

Like that episode was very good about addressing toxic behaivor from people who are supposedly woke or whatever.

An episode a lot of Tumblr should watch given the rampant radfem and terf ideology that gets spread on here.

todoroki ALWAYS sleeps with a stuffed toy

his favorite is a deku plushie he found at the store and never told midoriya about

he also has an all might plushie that he knows if midoriya saw it, he’d burst out into tears immediately

he plans to buy another one just for midoriya bc he highkey wants to see one of midoriya’s blinding smiles

once he came to midoriya’s room at 4am crying because he didn’t want to be the hand crusher anymore

midoriya let him in and before he could get a makeshift bed ready for todoroki, the guy had already passed out on midoriya’s bed

Um no wtf. Some people have pre-existing conditions that make it difficult to breathe with a mask on. E.g. anxiety, asthma, COPD. Mind your own business.

Actually I have anxiety, claustrophobia, sensory issues, & severe asthma, yet I still wear at least one if not two masks in public.

Yes, some people have pre-existing conditions that can make wearing masks difficult, the solution is going out in public as little as possible or finding alternative face coverings. (I’m sure there’s more safe solutions out there that other people have figured out)

I have no solutions for an alternative face covering that would work for someone w/copd, but someone with copd probably wouldn’t want to be in public rn b/c they’re very high risk?!? (Please someone correct me if I’m wrong on any of this I do not have copd)

Also asthmatics and other high risk people should wear masks to protect ourselves if we can? Having a few asthma attacks or panic attacks is so much better than me or someone else dying from covid19.

Stop using my conditions and disabilities as an excuse for pushing harmful ideology.

first of all, anxiety is NOT a condition that necessitates not wearing a face mask, even the slightest bit. if you think it is, you’re an idiot.

for people with actual breathing conditions (such as copd or severe asthma), or anyone else who doesn’t want to wear a mask, face shields exist and are extremely cheap (you can get a 6-pack for 5 bucks):

the solution to “i can’t wear a mask because i have a breathing condition” is not “i can go out without a facial covering and endanger the lives of others”. it is either find an alternative face covering like a face shield, or don’t go out at all.

According to medical experts, there are ZERO medical conditions that prevent people from wearing masks whilst in public. People just use that as an excuse to be assholes, or to let others be assholes. These excuses were used when seatbelts were introduced and we now ALL KNOW that is a load of BS. Just wear a damn mask. It’s literally the BARE MINIMUM you can do to protect others.

You know what bugs me about soulmate aus? So, I’m assuming that this whole “the first thing your soulmate says to you blahblahblah” is a worldwide thing. So many of the aus I’ve read have a quote at some point that addresses how tragic it is when people have soul words that say something like “hi” or “‘sup” which makes NO SENSE! In a world where the first thing you say to people is THAT important, WHY GOD WHY would the culture still use standard greetings? Who the fuck is still saying hello at this point? Everyone in these worlds would surely develop a personalized greeting different from everybody else’s to prevent confusion. Like how no 2 racehorses can have the same racing name? The best part is that every time people met someone new for the first time, they would try to say something that no one else had said. You’d have people meeting eachother at a job intetview, they’d shake hands, smile politely, then one of them would be like “Every Tuesday, I hard even grape purple farm house sunsets too” and this would be perfectly normal. Or you’d go up to the cash register at Starbucks and instead of saying “Hello, what can i get for you today?” She’d look you right in the eye and say “I don’t know what Space Jam is” THEN ask you what you want and she’d repeat that to every customer in the line for the rest of her career. And because they live in the AU, nobody would think it was weird.

Don’t aim for perfection. Or rather, aim for perfection, but make what you make, and know that, as with everything, you get better the more you do. (The first loaves of bread I made in lockdown were unpleasant or inedible, some of them spectacularly so. Now they are all terrific, and I can’t quite even remember how I used to mess them up so badly.) 

Remember, a lot of the time you don’t write because you know all the answers. You write because you have the questions.
