So as we know maneki's design is based off of the maneki neko. Thus, let me share some facts about his design and the correlation with the lucky kitty

(ﾐㅇᆽㅇﾐ)

The maneki neko actually has a variety of colours, each colour representing a different meaning:

1. White: purity & happiness

2. Black: protection & warding off negative energy and spirits

3. Red: protect against illness and bring good health

4. Pink: love & good relationship

5. Green: academic success & heals sickness

6. Calico: known as the most luckiest (wealth & prosperity aswell)

↳ The reason why its the most lucky is rooted in the rare genetics of real Japanese Bobtails, its colours symbolizes a balance of:

• White: Purity

• Orange: Wealth & financial success.

• Black: Wards off evil spirits & negativity

Maneki himself has accessories that acts as additional lucky items:

1. Scarf: im not entirely sure about this one, but perhaps the flowers on his scarf represents cherry blossoms ??? which means new beginnings and hope for a bright future

2. Bells: known to dispel bad spirits

3. Cat mask: modeled after the maneki neko, symbolize luck, happiness & prosperity

Overall the design is very well done imo ✌😋

But this is Vir from Mind the Gap in my art style, mostly just a sketch i did in ms paint (also him with glasses lol) i really love the game, everything is literally amazing. The soundtrack, writing, VA and art is just chefs kiss, cant wait to see what the dev has in store next
