Agents of SHIELD had the most fanfiction sounding plots in later seasons and actually made them work.

I mean it sounds like total fanfiction to say the main female character, who didn’t know her real name or that she had powers powers, who saves the world multiple times, who is a conspiracy theorist hacker orphan turned spy turned superhero, who starts time traveling, falls for a dude she meets while time traveling. Said dude was the male love interest of another main female character from a totally different show set 70-80 years before the main female character’s time. Then dude fakes his death to not disturb the timeline or som shit, travels with main female character, they get to know each other, they fall in love in only 1 season.

It sounds like an awful fanfiction written by a 13 year old, yet it was totally fucking amazing.

Absolutely no other show can pull off this shit.

the plot twist of ward being hydra was genuinely one of the greatest moments in marvel history. ward being hydra and daisy condemning him for it is brilliant because even though they both experienced a great deal of trauma growing up, only one of them let it change them for the worse. daisy choosing to be a good person despite everything she went through shows that being a bad person is a choice, and that your trauma is not an excuse to hurt others. ward used his trauma to hurt people, daisy used her trauma to help people. that is the sole difference between them.

In my heart of hearts I truly believe that Daisy Johnson can pull anyone, especially divine beings.

Alveus is a god/satan and he wants her to be mother of all monsters or whatever the plan was. Robbie really cared for her and even the Ghost Rider seemed to be quite interested in her as a person. Her and Sid meet two times but Sid likes her.

I think it’s interesting that knowing that Daisy is an inhuman (a race bred to kill gods) and she’s the last to be given powers through the old traditional method and she’s implied to be a lot stronger than most inhumans. I think it’s interesting that there’s this strange recognition between her and otherworldly beings.

Also she’s hot, moral, and empathetic while also being very funny. Shes just the kind of person you like/respect regardless of attraction.
