Just call me LesbianSunsetShimmer if you’ve gotta call me something. I use ey/em pronouns (or they/them if you’re a square) and am in my late 20’s. Feel free to send me asks or dm’s, I’m happy to chat.
Despite the blog name, this is a multifandom blog. I’m just a Sunset Shimmer stan. Also want to note that I headcanon Sunset Shimmer as a lesbian, but support bi Sunset headcanons! I’m just a lesbian who likes the idea of her being one too :)

- I try to tag for common triggers (nsfw, suicide, sh, etc.), let me know if you need more than that
- I tag spoilers for D20 seasons I’m watching until the season ends. I also try to tag the season more generally with its name while it’s actively airing, in case you want to be fully blind. This applies to other shows I’m watching that air live (though that usually is just D20). I do not tag other Dropout show spoilers at this time. Let me know if you’re passionate about that and I can try.

Ok I think that’s it. I typed this all on mobile, we’ll see if it looks bad. Sorry if it does. I’ll continue to update this as needed.
as someone who constantly gets stuck in ruminative cycles, figuring out a way to stop the cycle before it gets out of hand has been incredibly formative for me. if you find yourself ruminating or unable to stop the cycling, here’s a place to start.
am i learning, processing, or ruminating? it’s important to be able to distinguish between the three. learning is when you receive new information that updates your frame of understanding. processing is when you study a situation to help yourself understand it. ruminating is when you cycle over the same thought repeatedly, often causing distress. learning and processing are productive, while rumination is destructive.
which theme is this? understanding the root of the spiral has helped me to untangle why the rumination feels so intense and scary. (example: i’ve been ruminating on one specific interaction with someone where i think they might’ve misinterpreted what i meant. this is my theme of fear around being misunderstood.)
how do i respond? (example: okay, this is that theme of being misunderstood. but it is not my job to make myself perfectly understood. the people i have around me can ask clarifying questions if they’re confused, and they are willing to meet me in the middle because they want to understand.)
don’t feed the raccoons tuna. (this is an example from my therapist that i love! essentially, don’t feed the beast or it will keep coming back. distract yourself, journal, listen to music, etc.)
After being sucked out of the Moon Base's airlock, Steven, to stay safe, puts himself in a bubble and floats through space, and along the way, he runs into one of the Rubies floating in space, Eyeball. The Season 3 finale, “Bubbled”, premiered on this day, 10 Years Ago.
This 1910 church in Chicago, IL was turned into an estate, with a price to match. It has 5bds, 6ba, 10,000sqft, $6.5m. They don't specify, but it has so many original artifacts, that they must at least include the church pieces.
It looks like a gallery, and they've incorporated the baptismal font.
The owners have a lot of antiques, like the harp. But, things like the canopy over the door will stay.
10,000sqft of living space. The listing says that there's a special heating/cooling system for a large building.
Nice sink in this half bath.
They incorporated some of the church cabinetry into the kitchen and it's equipped with chef's appliances.
Then, just outside the kitchen, there's a dining area.
Beautiful library.
And, look at this den. I'm guessing that the seat is included.
The baths are nice. This one has an antique sink vanity.
Some of the bedrooms aren't very large.
Others are larger.
And, this one on the top level is very big. It must be the primary suite.
It has a large elaborate ensuite.
And, a walk-in closet.
Then, here they have a rec room in the basement.
There's a bar.
And, a full second kitchen. It's a catering kitchen, for parties and special occasions.
There's also another bedroom suite with a separate entrance down here.
This is special- it's the bell tower fitted with stairs so that you can climb up and view the city.
There's a patio and gardens outside. 6,572sqft lot
