I know I’m not actively around on this blog much due to my intensive IRL schedule, but I am active in several Discord servers and browse around online when I’m on work breaks.
In the recent week or two, the situation of a predator in this online community has popped up. I was first made aware of this when a moderator put @furiousfem‘s post in one of the Discord channels just as it was made for us to learn the info, spread it if we were still active on Tumblr, and to boot this piece of shit out of our community.
Immediately I recognized the user’s name. While I haven’t been online in a while, I’ve always remember that in the Biggest Fans section of my activity page s-the-empress has sat at Number 1 for a long time. That’s how I learned that that can be tracked by number of logged-in page views, instead of just interaction with posts. Because I had rarely ever seen her on any of my posts–save for the ones describing the virilization caused by my own disorder, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia.
And while I may be wrong, I think I’ve seen her on @inferior-mirage‘s posts as well, who also has CAH.
Reading the screenshots of the things she said and did to @transgun and @discyours and with the knowledge that she frequents my blog posts about my sexually virilizing disorder, I noticed this really common theme–she’s really hyperfocused on just what any of us would be doing with our genitals (i.e., pervasively asking about how masturbation would work, or in the weird baby upstairs scenario saying that a partner reaches for a penis to initiate sex and then finds out there is clitoromegaly instead, how does sex proceed). While I know this phrase gets thrown around a lot in the stupidest of contexts, I think we’re looking at someone with a genuine genital fetish. She seems to postulate that it is supposedly freakish and sexually enticing because of its “freakishness.” It doesn’t look like she is interested in anything with trans men or trans mascs or virilized intersex women aside from genitals because none of her focus seemed to be on other aspects like our facial hair growth or voice depth or living socially.
While she hasn’t come to me personally messaged me on here, in the past I’ve gotten many a disturbingly sexual and depraved anons about my disorder that wound up garbage-binned before they could ever see the light of day (there’s a lot of really gross shit I get that just gets deleted, hence another reason I’m rarely around lol). If she was any of them, and I believe by the syntax of some of them she may be, I think she came for me more privately than she did with the two known victims because I’m very upfront and clinical on my blog and it’s hard to get a reaction out of me. It appeared that she was feeding on pissing off and making uncomfortable either of the trans men she was predating on. I also have a nasty habit of putting up people’s heads on spokes on my blog when things get very depraved like some of the intersex fakers who anon in my inbox, so she may have avoided me for the sake of continuing her sickness longer.
With regards to this situation, we need to watch more closely what goes down in this community. I think I have seen a post or two of STE’s get popular and none of us would have thought a thing for a long time, like with spuchkloss or however that’s spelled, because they manage to fly under the radar for long enough or because victims are afraid to come forward because we think anyone who labels themselves with a community we’re in must be good like us type-politics. The next time this happens, which sadly I’m sure it will, we need to immediately take action and find ways to prevent the abuser from making further contact with victims and from seeking out new victims, as well as expelling them from the community by reporting and refusal to interact. I think STE’s blog is still up, as it was when I blocked her before making this post, but hopefully staff nixes that very soon.
There are many people in my inbox who have questions important to them about their sexual health, intersex conditions, if they have intersex conditions including medical history and sexual body descriptions, worried young people, etc. and I do not want to expose them to people like this even if they are behind anon. I’m not going to be answering those asks for a little while because, while I have STE blocked, any blocked person can still access a page in browser by going to the URL while logged out–and I won’t be turning my blog to private mode because I made this to serve as information for anyone and everyone, regardless of if they have a Tumblr. There is also possibility that a blocked person can still send anons, but I’m not Tumblr-savvy so I’m not sure.
I am sorry for my rambling and incoherent thoughts on this; this just happens to be a very vile situation that makes me very angry.
